my favorite brand is SODA for casual. it's affordable and they changed their theme very frequent. most of my clothes is from SODA.
however, for formal wear, i like padini and seed. cheap, slim cut. hehe

only one answer for cheap and quality: marks and spencer.
shoes, clarks.
shirts, marks and spencer, renoma, raoul, padini
jeans, wrangler.
sneakers, adidas, puma, zara, bonia.

those are for cheap, nice design and quality..

sometimes, Tangs Pavilion is selling italian made shoes for 50% off..you can get an italian made shoes for rm250 after discount if you are lucky..but i still prefer bonia, because its cheap, and stylish. i purchase shoes annually, or once in six months..didnt you people get bored of the same old shoes for years?

I would say it is such a disappointment that true sartorial labels such as Kiton, Oxxford, John Lobb, Crockett & Jones, Incotex, Isaia couldn't make its way to our shores. Instead all we are getting here are overpriced Ferragamo Studios(glued junk) and pathetically fused Armani suits. sad.gif

hmm .. when it comes to buying brand i start off with things that i like most first, watch n wallet .. the rest will have to wait until i really get rich lol

Currently with a Seiko, but plan to get a Tag and will ultimately end up with an IWC in long future. Wallet is Mont Blanc n so far satisfied with it ..

Casual stuffs i usually go for Zara, Top Man, Gap and Banana Republic, occassionally Pull and Bear, Springfield also ok.

Formal ones still G2000 LOL ! but would love to have a set of Hugo Boss suit.

I've discussed this topic with a few girlfriends before

The few things that girls observed are

A nice watch
A pair of nice shoes
Wallet - so so le cause all black colour de unless they take a closer look at it, emblem also pretty small on a wallet
Belt

But most important of all is how you dress, i mean with all those 4 of the above but with poor dressing, you'll kill the atmosphere and the mood..

Hair styling is also very important!

i have all 4 of the above but would love to upgrade my watch some day soon haha currently using a tag heuer carrera chronograph

cheers! life is great

You really should ask yourself how many individual (Really money makers) would want to buy Kiton? Last year the doors to very highly prized suits come in the form of Brioni in KLCC. Before that we were only exposed to Emergildo Zegna. Latest is Canali in Pavilion. Have you looked into how many are buying custom suits in Emergildo Zegna? Do you know the customers are only our local politicians? Brioni is also the same. Our super money spinner businessmen, they all buy off the rack. The local business faces you see gets theirs tailored at many spots like Lords, Spark Manshop, Wardrobe and more.

And whats the point of having set up shop here then they have to close shop after a few years. I really don't know any average joe willing to pay RM10K for a suit. Even the millionaires i know only spends money on cars and property! But he is wearing regular pasar malam clothes. I doubt he even have a suit besides his wedding suit! So whats the market? Brioni KLCC caters to SEA markets btw.

If talking about technical terms, there is this laser fabric cutting machines that is only used by mass suit producers. What i did find is there are only a few such machines in the world and 3 is in Korea. I rate highly suits made in Korea, and they are cheap. Nowdays even big names like Brioni uses such machines with CAD software. It cuts more accurately and less wastage.

Anyway i wouldn't be dissapointed if they never arrive. Times like this, anyone who pays RM10K for a suit is courting trouble.

American dream? hahaha. Look at how many jobs are lost in USA. So much for dreams. It almost seems like America is heading for depression. Paying 10K for a suit is only a short term happines.

I have no specific brand for my cloths. I try it, if i like it, then i buy it.

But i do have a few brands that i would look out for when out shopping. I would go for the mid range price brands.
Puma, Giordano, Lee, Levi's, Camel Active.

Brand that i always envied and wanted is French Connection. The reason being, the short form is too cool to be ignored.
