if u're going to self-sponsor, why dun try singapore poly 1st. i mean. if the cost almost the same as in ALAM, better there. more reputable school will ensure u to get higher chances of applying different company for ur shipboard training. u can also try poli ungku omar. sum of their student also sponsored by shipping companies such as misc.

reputable school makes u get higher chances of getting into shipping company for ur cadetship. but once u got ur COC, we'll all be the same. like me, i'm planning to get 4th & 3rd class in m'sia. collect sum money then do my 2nd n 1st class in UK.

That's a good choice bro. I'm planning to take a CoC 2 & 1 overseas, probably UK too. Think its faster there. I'm a year 1 in Singapore Poly. What can i do to enhance my skillsets?

ALAM is recruiting cadets in mumbai.....frustrating to know..hopefully they are not under sponsored from local shipping co...still many malaysian wanted to take course..i dunno what is the planning...
