Im trying to call xbox support @ australia cos its weekend and sg isn't open but it keeps telling me on the phone that the number is not in service or network is busy... im calling 0061800-555-741. ive tried different variations of the number to no success and im getting upset now. also, im calling bcos i cant redeem my code and i know the code itself works just can't redeem. finally, i hope i posted this in the right category of the forum.
If anyone can help me call them or help me with the problem itself(italics) it would be fantastic. |

its a 1-month code and i got it off ebay, but im sure it works because i tried entering the code incorrectly and it came up with a different error message than with the code i am currently trying to redeem

Xbox Live code are not suppose to be region lock (only Microsoft Point), I have been giving away alot of my free UK gold card and it seems to work fine with streamyx IP.
What kind of error message you getting? Luckily tech support are not region lock, try calling other region of xbox support |

On xbox.com my error is 'An error has occured during transaction. Please try again later.' and while on x360 its 'Cannot retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Pleas try again later. Status code: 8016a04b' I've been trying to call oz support but it keeps telling me that the network is busy or that the number is not in service and I'm with maxis. Also, i'm not calling singapore cos i dont wanna wait till monday to try.

1. they work from i think 9.00am to 5.00pm - Saturday and Sunday and today is saturday, and if im right we are 2 and a half hours behind as its summer there and I called at about noon-ish so it would be ~2.30pm there (http://www.xbox.com/en-AU/support/contact)
2. When i called sometimes it would tell me that the network is busy, probably meaning that someone else would be on the line...i think This post has been edited by bish: Dec 27 2008, 07:55 PM |
