QUOTE(syNcv9 @ Jul 28 2009, 12:05 PM) That heartbeat sensor make the fun no more, cuz spamming the wall randomly is much more fun until people at flying spaghetti monster say you are a hacker, LOL! Maybe it might back fires,as it should detect everyone's heart beat. So,you might shot your own team mate. |

Got bad news guys,MW2 PC might be delayed for 2 weeks.
PC's release date will be 24th of November. Link: http://www.electronictheatre.co.uk/index.p...2-delayed-on-pc What the hell. That means i only get to play it in January. I just have a bad feeling tha MW2 gonna be shit,as IW is concentrating more on the consoles this time. If MW2 is shit,BFBC2 better be a damn good PC game then. Well,it's time to get used to consoles then.
Even Microsoft dont even give PC a damn.PC would probably wont last much longer now. Badly ported games just make me feel like getting a PS3.Plus with some of the really good games on console. This post has been edited by Cheesenium: Oct 6 2009, 11:27 PM |

I rather CoD 2142 than WW2 again. At least there are some room for some imaginations and i have been seeing a Bar,Thompson,MP44 etc for dunno how many times.Im bored of WW2.
So,MW2 or MW1 might be the last CoD i might play. Still, even Gamespot says PC's MW2 is only coming out on 24th of November, while consoles are getting it on 10th of November.Gamespot is the 4th source that is saying MW2 is coming out on 24th.This sucks,to be honest. Probably the new PC release date is still NDA. |

QUOTE(BigBangNick @ Oct 9 2009, 12:50 AM) There is no official confirmation yet,so,it's not too bad.I just hate IW for leaving everything in the dark without giving a yes or no. Seeing how MW2 seem so console centric,im reconsidering to buy this game now.Could be another UT3 crapfest. |

QUOTE(Luftwacko @ Oct 10 2009, 03:03 PM) No official statement yet,but there are quite a lot of sites stating 24th of November for PC.I guess it's true then, unless IW say otherwise. They should at least give a confirmation on the delay, rather than leave it hanging like that. This really piss me off. They cant take their PC audience like a second class. This post has been edited by Cheesenium: Oct 10 2009, 03:17 PM |

QUOTE(crashtec @ Oct 19 2009, 05:16 AM) Bowling is an idiot. He barely knows what his company is releasing and what infrastructure they are offering. Activision "Community Leaders" are a joke, always have been. This has proven EA has become much better than Activision now.All i advise is to wait for actual reviews before purchase and not some 16 year old's interpretation of an idiots interview. Idiot + Idiot = American Free Media, they've got the dates wrong before, what next? Speculation. Don't fall into that trap. Wait for its release, preview and/or review before purchase. |

QUOTE(crashtec @ Oct 19 2009, 01:45 PM) Thats a lie and you know it. Still,at least they didnt betray their customers 3 weeks before release.Im happy with Shift,RA3 and a few EA games now.EA gives you half ass games for 3 times the price, then releases DLC's 2 months later at 10 USD. The only company i trully respect in the gaming industry to date is Blizzard and CCP. They've got the idea, just that its so niche (WoW, Eve Online) that its getting boring. Well,we'll see how is it when BFBC2 comes out. To be honest, the only companies i respect are indies(as they are honest passionate people),Blizzard and Valve.EA isnt as bad as 2-3 years back. QUOTE(crashtec @ Oct 19 2009, 02:10 PM) Blizzard, we all love blizzard. Yes,it is Blizzard's idea, but the difference is,SC2,D3 and WoW are not FPS games. They dont demand as much low ping as FPS.It would work for Blizzard games, but not CoD,as one man's meat is another man's poison. You know, im coming to realize that Blizzard is behind this entire idea anyway. So respect them = respect IW's decision. Unfortunately, its the wrong genre. Another problem with IW's approach with this is they only reveal this 3 weeks before release. If they start talking about this 6 months ago, people wont be that pissed.I bet the SC community will be as pissed as CoD community if Blizzard suddenly announced there is will no LAN and everything you do needs to be done on Battlenet on 3 weeks right before release.Instead,Blizzard did not talk about the release date and announced the new Battlenet 2.0 before everything set stone,so that they got time to hear about the fan's opinion on this and they get time to amend the changes before the beta hits. I think, this clearly show Blizzard actually care about their community, while IW/Activision dont care at all.Even small matters like the possible delay on PC took them about a week to respond. The issue on dedicated servers,i really doubt they gonna do anything on this. Seems like IW have been over paranoid over piracy,as Steam is a pretty robust platform against piracy.I think Steam alone, plus dedicated servers are sufficient fo deter pirates. QUOTE(crashtec @ Oct 19 2009, 03:00 PM) Haha, SC 2 is smarter, they used IW's MW2 as a guineipig. Trust me, they will use the same system. Definitely,as SC2 is Blizzard's baby. They wont want to release it untested.I think deterring isn't their plan anymore. Its more like destroying. zzz Which side they're destroying on the other hand, i dont know. Well,if it's Bnet 2.0's code,i wont concern so much as it's a Blizzard product.I have seen screenshots of Bnet 2.0 with a "Establishing a zero ping connection" logo at the bottom right. It could be true low ping connection over the net or just a marketing gimmick. I remembered that DoW2's GFWL manage to run smoothly even there is 500-800 ping to one of the players.Above 1k would be laggy. It's pretty much on how good is their net code. Added on October 19, 2009, 3:15 pmAny source on IW.Net will use a prototype of Battlenet 2.0's code? This post has been edited by Cheesenium: Oct 19 2009, 03:15 PM |

QUOTE(GreaseMonkey90 @ Oct 19 2009, 08:08 PM) I doubt they gonna put in dedicated servers,as everyone is getting so paranoid over piracy. Also,I dont really trust community managers these days. They can promise something now, then, the next minute, everything changed, just like 402. QUOTE(SpikeTwo @ Oct 20 2009, 10:18 PM) i din pre order the day i heard there's no special editions, price hikes, IW's silence on PC community... before this shit about no DS. i knew something is coming. Same, the moment i saw the Prestige Version is not for PC,i knew something isnt that right. Then, the silence on PC delay that took them 2 weeks to confirm further reinforce my suspicious. Lastly,no dedicated servers just left me with disappointment.Go die la,IW. |

QUOTE(JuzJoe @ Oct 21 2009, 12:02 AM) worst of all, base on what i've heard on the webcast? The lack of info on the PC minimum requirements, and MP information was really a bad sign. IW has been bz promoting their Single player and co-op(spec-ops) gameplay and very lil info on the multipayer aspect. In short, this is a console game where they expect people to play it for a month and dump it aside after they finish specs ops/campaign.But I wish I had pre-order, just so that I could cancel it during this moment just to make IW look really dumb. Im not surprised of that,as most console gamers have shorter attention span on a single game. We,PC gamers, can stick to a game for years.Best evidence is Starcraft and CS1.6. People are still playing after so many years, even if it look like absolute pile of crap now.If the game is good,PC gamers will pretty much stick to it till the end of times. PC gamers are much more vocal, demanding but loyal to the franchise that they enjoy,IMHO. |
