how about the online play? i don wanna to use STEAM

Steam got alot players? no lagging issues? currently using 2Mbps(Mega bits per second)

same la. no matter how good is ur connection you still suffer lag cause not much of asia players atm. maybe few months later.

my GPU temp only 62°C while playing SP
idle was 50°C
but when i play cod4 my gpu temp reach till 80°C , this game performance like play GTA4

My point of view about MW2:
1. Installation takes time (about 40 min)
2. Gfx not much improvement.
3. More weapon can be choose but sadly cannot customize (like Crysis)
4. No binoculars in any mission???
5. Gameplay - for SP, enjoy cos the mission around the world with diff environment. SHORT but SWEET.
6. Overall, I enjoy the game...

I'll wait for Bad Company 2. At least got vehicle and dedicated server support. Charging $50 for a dumbed down PC game is too much.

Ok guys, i just had a test run on the MP, and i'm quite surprised that it is actually playable even at 1 bar, i managed to even snipe, just that you might need to estimate or "predict" 1/2 a second in advance on where your enemy might be going.

All in all, i enjoyed it, i thought i was going to regret it, but it turns out to be better than expected, but it comes without saying that IW.net SUCKS BALLS, you cant choose who you play with (in pub), it doesnt tell u who's the host nor show the initial ping of the host while ure waiting for the game to start. So far, of 20+ games i've joined, only 2 or 3 were unplayable. The rest even with 1 bar played ok, yellow bar even better. Green bar, heavenly.

There's no lean (though i can live without it) and no friggin console (MUST HAVE).

Anyway, other than that i had no other problems, installation took around 20-30 minutes, no errors.

I would recommend those who cant stand a 1/2-1 second lag, do not buy it, unless u want to pay 200 bucks for a 5 hour game.

I suggest you to save your money, it might be spent in something else such as books or even another game. MP is too underwhelming for PC standards now to even consider a purchase. And yes, study hard
