open itunes.connect ur ipod.there will be a button UPDATE.hold shift key and click the button.then it will open windows like browse for ur file,so,find the firmware u just download,and click ok.

ermm.not sure.but y dont u do it urself.kinda easy.lots of guides in youtube.but if ur a gen2 user,better wait for the untethered jailbreak.becoz for now,if u jailbreak gonna do jb it again everytime u reboot the ipod.too much hassle i would say.

Try bodyguardz. U can get it at garage sale.find twinkle.it is film which protect ur iPod from scratch and won't left much fingerprints.kinda expensive,rm99 but it comes it comes in two sets.try ask the dealer.maybe it can gv u better pride

If u trying to change the entire music collection in ur iPod,just empty ur iTunes,add the new music collection,and sync ur iPod

no.because ipod use diffeent kind of batt,cant remember the name.nickle somthing.which is wont have memory effect like phones batt.so u can charge n plug in anytime u want

i suggest u wait a while and buy the 2nd gen.because the 2nd gen has speaker,which not very loud but usable,got volume button which really helps u control the volume while in 1st gen u got to unlock and adjust the volume bar.kinda too hassle.and 2nd gen can be bluetooth-enable.after the 3.0 firmware is out.while the 1st gen cant.anyway,just my opinion though.

jailbreak wont make wifi stronger.n i think the wifi is just fine.doesnt feel it inferior in any way.n u can check the pinned jailbreak thread for more info about jailbreak.and seriously u can do a lot of things even without jailbreaking.got tons of apps and all

i think its possible,like dsi.a gaming console,still have a camera.i read at ipodtouchfan,many optimist with the possibility.

well,firstly im kinda suprised that many of u say that the connection is kinda sucks as for me,all went well and smooth.i dont even bother to use my laptop when i need quick browsing like checking my cimb account,transferring fund,or reading manga,or checking whats new on gsmarena.maybe it depends on the web site.im not really sure.bout youtube,i cant really say coz i rarely watch youtube .anyway,just for me,im very satisfied with ipod touch browsing capabilities.there are some glitch in connection,sometimes cannot connect and all,but not really annoying.

and for the speaker,there is an apps in cydia.try look for it.never use though coz im satisfied with the speaker,not that i dont like loud speaker,but im already ready for the outcomes as apple itself has note that the speaker is for "casual listening".so i never expected much bout it.so,still satisfied.seriously,i never bought an ipod touch with "the speaker is loud" thought in my mind.i've been "warned" by apple already
