WTH ? I have this problem when i was printing my dad's catalogue with my Canon Pixma MP160 printer.

Suddenly it says error E3 - paper jammed & started print one sheet & another blank paper & continously.

Anyone know how to fix this problem ?

Searched google & found that alot of people have this problem too.
My printer is still under warranty. Printing some urgent stuffs now.

HOW TO FIX OMFG !

Clear any paper off the printer.

Switch it off, completely.

Reboot the PC.

But before you restart your job, run a page or two of test prints.

Good luck !

Is this the same brand of paper you have been using?

Different brand of paper have different characteristic. Some work with some printer, and others work with other kinds of printer.

Plus, there's a "weight" of paper, 60 gram or 70 gram or 80 gram.

See which type of paper you are using.

Try loosen up the paper, could also be the humidity (wetness in air) that makes the paper sticks together. If that still doesn't work, then yes, the roller might be the culprit.

Hope this helps !

Its called fanning the paper. Its something like you do to the playing cards. You fan it out (in a fan shape) Then jiggle the paper a little to get some air pockets in between each sheets. Align the paper back again and print again. Your 80gsm paper is the recommended paper to use.

i had that problem too with canon printers. Me thinks the prob is not whether you fan the paper or not. It's the quality of the paper. I was using Indah Kiat, then when i switch to Giant paper (which was on sale), it got stuck when i put a stack in it. This go on for some time and i thought my printer had problem. When i switch back to good quality paper, the problem disappear and i was able to place stack of papers back into tray without prob biggrin.gif
