Hey, I just bought the new MacBook Aluminum. I used bout 4 hours online, listening to music but the battery used up to 24%. I ask some technician, it say the new MacBook can support up to 4 to 5 hours? is it truth? is it my battery got problem?

Yeah, just called Apple and they say that all parts of the Macbook Pro are protected under the ACPP except the battery as it is considered as consumables. I guess that's fair.

Just curious. I forgot to ask the tech support guy. When the battery is fully charged at 100%, and we still plug it in, will it affect the battery life?
Someone suggested me to remove the battery first before letting it run on power as it will affect the battery life. Any idea?

Thanks.

Those Apple technician suggest me take out the battery when u plug into socket. When charging at least 8 hour long.

if ur macbook battery is empty, then need to charge at least 8 hr long. If ur macbook battery is full, u can remove the battery out and plug into socket.

Cycles: 14
Health: 100%

Run on battery power at least once per week, else on AC power. Perform Battery Calibration once per month. I do hope the Battery Health could stay good and achieve 80% health at 300 cycles like Apple claimed.

to all Mac laptops users, if you still not aware about the importance of Battery Maintenance, do read the above article. (I suppose it does apply for all Laptops)

Hey, what mean by "Run on battery power at least once per week" and "Perform Battery Calibration once per month"?
