My friend(girl) discovered my clean and clear oil control film / blotters in my jeans the other day, she didn't say anything. Are you guys embarrassed when that happens? Anyone in same situation like me before?

QUOTE(shyey @ May 31 2011, 04:03 PM) you guys need to be shy meh? I'm not that confident Why you guys still got this stereotype thoughts? People is always self-concious about themselves. True story/fact. Everybody doesn't care about others except themselves. At my country or here in Malaysia (hostel) i always wash my face infront of strangers. |
Just want to ask anyone using Oxy full range product?
Wanna try it.

I've been using Oxy Deep Cleansing Wash for a long time, its the best cleanser for me. I used to have many pimples popping out everyday, but after using it it ceased. And the thing I hate about cleansers is that they make my face really dry, but this cleanser doesn't, and it contains vitamin C that makes my face fairer through time and vitamin E that maintains the elasticity and freshness of my face. QUOTE(Xiia0Ban @ Aug 14 2011, 03:39 PM) OH i just bought oxy deep cleansing wash that came with oxy oil control wash. It does have some effect I guess, but I usually use bloating tissues to get rid of excess oil when I'm outside. I use whitening toner from Loreal as well.Just wonder your Oxy deep cleansing wash can avoid oily skin or not? I just got a Oil control toner as well. Hope its work |

QUOTE(Jganne @ Nov 15 2011, 03:21 PM) I have that type of skin as well. When I'm outside, I literally sweat a lot and my face is damn oily. But when I'm inside my room at home, my skin tends to be very dry especially after I cleansed and toned my face. Need to apply moisturizer whenever I'm inside an air-conditioned room. |

Well for vitamin C serums, Nanowhite has them. I've tried them, not much effect. Recently I bought the HadaLabo whitening series which is quite popular among women, anyone fond of them?

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Feb 21 2012, 04:47 PM) it's possible and i do this on a daily basis. im sure some of the sunscreen is removed but i think the amount removed is small n won't affect the protection level. as long as u do not go n blot every hour, 5-6 times a day. once sunscreen is applied give it at least 15 mins to absorb. I see, thanks for your advice. Is it possible for your face to be oily even with the sunscreen on?also a sunscreen that is waterproof n sebum resistant would be better and wont be removed so easily with blotters. |

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Feb 21 2012, 06:08 PM) mainly depends on how oily ur skin is and the type of sunscreen used. most japanese milky type sunscreens do control oil to a certain degree...but i dun think there r sunscreens that totally stop the face fr getting oily. i dun think that is healthy. mostly sunscreens that boast about their oil control abilities contain a lot of silicone n powder. they will keep ur face matte but they r often very drying n extremely difficult to remove. that was my exp with Biore Perfect Face sunscreen. IMHO guys just can't really carry that matte look coz its just looks too fake n ppl will start suspecting that u apply some kind of makeup haha. How much is the sunscreen? Do you apply it everyday? Gonna try it out, the reviews of that product is really good.currently i use Shiseido Multi Defence UV Protector SPF50 and i really like it. decent oil control without looking too artificial n easily washed off with cleanser. water resistant also. downside is d price. |

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Feb 22 2012, 11:13 PM) can get rid of blackheads with those stick on pore strips n clay mask. I meant the Shiseido's sunscreen, much appreciatedu can get rid of oil with stuff like oil blotting sheets, oil control gels/lotions, mattifying sunscreens n makeup. but no way to cure oily skin permanently. usually once u reach around 30 skin will get less oily. but in hot humid Malaysia oily skin is normal la. i use blotters n mattifying sunscreen to control my oily skin. Added on February 22, 2012, 11:14 pm Haven't bought a bottle more den a yr coa its too drying for my skin. i f i remember correctly the sunscreen is around RM25-30, depending whether or not got sale. u r referring to the Biore sunscreen ? |

Anyone knows any good whitening moisturizer/cream/gel? I'm trying to whiten my skin however my skin is a combination of oily and dry , so I'm looking for a whitening moisturizer that really hydrates my skin and also has a good whitening effect. I've tried many whitening moisturizers such as HadaLabo,Loreal,Garnier, Clean and Clear and so on, but my skin is still very dry after application, so usually I'll have no choice but to apply my usual moisturizer, which does not whiten my skin.

QUOTE(jasmineh2y @ Jul 26 2012, 02:23 PM) to remove it in a single minute is those nose strips which stick on nose and peel off after awhile. Do those nose strips really work? I do have some visible blackheads in my nose, but the strips never seem to extract them out, I usually can just see a few blackheads along with facial hairs when peeled outfor permanently and long term, you shd do scrub and mask after shower. that's work better |

QUOTE(shahrul09 @ Sep 2 2012, 12:38 PM) taking multivitamin can cause breakout? It is usually taken once per day. Since my multivitamins are expiring soon and I would not wanna waste time. I tried taking them like once a week or once a month, but it still still causes breakouts. Once I take them, on the next day my face would be filled with red giant pimples. IMO its too heaty.idk tis..do u take it in normal amount or u overdose it? Added on September 2, 2012, 12:42 pmok...just google..n get tis The three main components of multivitamins that appear to have a negative effect on acne are vitamins B6, B12, and the mineral iodine. The problem here is that normal doses of these substances are necessary to function properly. The use of multivitamins, especially those with an enhanced B-complex (usually much more than the 100 percent recommended amount) and iodine fortified products (salt and through cow ingestion, milk) lead us to take much more than the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) suggested amount. Several studies, including a 1991 study by EF Sheretz, showed that a high dosage of the B6 and B12 vitamin led to an acne reaction that was resistant to typical acne treatment Read more: How do Multivitamins Cause Acne? | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/how-does_5243773_do-mu...l#ixzz25LLGW3YN This post has been edited by diversity: Sep 2 2012, 02:01 PM |
