Almost every dept store in KL/PJ has a Shiseido counter.

read my post again. i did recommend him to use moisturizer at night.

nowadays even in the daytime i use moisturizer. japanese sunscreens just too drying for me to skip moisturizer in the daytime.

Sorry my eyes got problem, lol. I feel like trying their products.

Added on April 26, 2011, 6:05 pmAnd jonny4, can you please recommend me a good moisturizer or sunscreen thats not oily and provides SPF protection. I want to apply it when I am going out, like you said..I need to protect my face from the sun biggrin.gif

check out page 63, post #1250 of this thread. u asked the same question b4 and i answered in length.

Shiseido Men has trial packs that cost RM99 and comes with 30ml cleanser, 30ml moisturizer and 15ml anti aging cream gel. onli certain counters have it as they aren't bringing in new stock.

As for moisturizer I use Shiseido Men Moisturizing Emulsion in the daytime. Nighttime I use Biotherm Homme Aquapower.

which one do you use when you go out? Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV SPF50?

I use Perfect UV most of the time. my only complaint is the difficulty in washing it off. a cleansing oil is definitely needed.
*
But it is indeed light right, not those lotion type, not noticeable is it? What about normal cleansing washes, I use oxy deep cleansing wash, do you think I'll have a problem washing it off?

Very light and watery but u will feel a layer of it...every sunscreen is like that no matter how light.

Its water n sebum resistant so any kind of cleanser will not remove it 100%. only cleansing oil can remove it properly.

Once again thank you very much, appreciate it notworthy.gif

Really depends on the needs of your skin. cream type moisturizers r more suited for dry aging skin. Gel/emulsion type moisturizers would suit oilier skins. I normally use a heavier gel-cream type of moisturizer at night.

I'm using a skin repair moisturizer/cream when I go to bed, is it appropriate?

shud be fine if there r no side effects.

also must have results after a few months.

Oh okay, because I heard night time is the time when your skin heals and regenerates. And I'm afraid the oiliness of the moisturizer would cause my skin to have pimples.

Moisturizer is avoid drying up your skin.
The oiliness of moisturizer is different with sebum.
Which is good while another is bad.

thank you for the information thumbup.gif

I dun think 10% is advisable at all. BP doesn't work instantly...takes about a few months of daily use to see a significant difference.

ya of coz its gonna be dry without moisturizer when u use 10%.

by all means u can try 10% without moisturizer. do remember to let us know the result.
*
yeah don;t use 10%BP, it will screw up your face

yeah, in fact it is better for people who have sensitive skin like me, as men's skin care products could be too rough. I'm using some of the loreal women products tongue.gif

yup im using Thursday Plantation pure tea tree oil on pimples in the daytime. BP at night.

TTO not as effective as BP but its less harsh. doesn't make skin oily n absorbs fast. can be quite drying if too much is used tho.

The very strong smell of TTO is a prob for some ppl. I have used TTO of n on for years but i still find the smell too strong.
*
I'm using tea tree oil as an alternative to BP, as my skin is sensitive. How come you're still using acne medications? I assumed that you won't have any breakouts and blemishes since you're a Master in face care. I'm taking care of my face very well, but I tend to have breakouts from time to time. I reckon that the problem is internally, so I started taking care of my diet and food intake. Still the same =(

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_hydroxy_acid

There is a wealth of info online n u can access it by using Google search.

If that is too hard, the search function at the bottom of this thread can help too. I think i have explained numerous times what BHA is and its function in this thread.

Thank u.

i use

Loreal for men. no effect
Clinique for men. later on go to trashbin.
Biotherm Homme. also go to trashbin

then i use Kiehls. work like magic. no pimple.

Kiehls very good product.

Added on May 16, 2011, 12:04 pm

i ask the promoter about the tea tree product especially for treating pimples,
she said that the reaction will be worst, meaning u get more pimple for couple of week,
because of deep cleansing or what so ever.
i advice, if you want to go out often, then dont use it.
it is all about confindence..
*
I bought some pure tea tree oil products awhile ago, started using it and there were many breakouts, stopped using it and revert back to BP, I also don't know why..
