Do get the right moisturizers for your face type though

Just a week into the regime n my face is almost clear of acne, n now i can go one whole day without feeling oily unlike last time

just read the jinyee's recommendation as said by ya'll..
is it only effective if I follow exactly the regime including product or just the regime will do without the exact product?
cuz I've been using the "strong" Oxy10 and Oxy Face wash for quite a long time now altho pimple still popping out.. I never use a moisturiser b4 tho, my skin is oily.

Anyone tried Sothys?

Hmm...i was wondering, is it necessary for us to use all 3 ( cleanser, toner and moisturiser)? I know cleanser is a must, how about the rest??

too expensive...i'm scared to even think about trying LOL.

However I think they have trial sets for RM120-160.

Added on December 9, 2010, 2:15 pmThe important steps are cleansing and moisturizing. Toner is really optional. But if u decide to use a toner, moisturizer is a must. If ur skin is very oily u could skip moisturizer in the day and only use it at night.

I was looking at their site yesterday and the prices seemed to be around Shiseido/Biotherm.

for pimple break out..can seriously try dermedex. go google it... There was once I had pimples break out bcz of exam stress.. Surprisingly dermedex is like mah GOD..=.= it seriously reduces the pimples and scars.. and..I tried the challenge pack. (google it pls).. only cost me RM22, den i can know the effect:) it was good..

then if useful, then only buy their products...worth it.really worth it:)

Look properly again...even the cleansers start at RM140 and the other product prices start at RM200. Higher price range than Shiseido/Biotherm.

I hv read through few threads about how to maintain a smooth skin and reduce ance or pimple....but there are just too many suggestions and product that made me confused now @_@

My skin type is not too oily, pimple pop up once in awhile, most of the time it left scar on my face (i think i still dont really know how to treat it). I do shave every day. So i would like to get some suggestion about the steps of treating my problem (cleanser then moisturiser? then after shave balm? Toner? BP?). What product you can suggest to me (my budget would be around 200).

My problem is, it does not improve although i have changed few brands such as loreal men, garnier and neugeno. So i guess maybe my method or product is not suitable for me. Thats y i need some recommendation. Thanks =)

my skin type is sensitive, oily and dry ... may i know which brand of skin produtcs suitable to me??? i tried Simple before, but i feel it's not suitable me bcoz after i washed, my face become reddish ... Recently my face has a lot of pimples and blackhead too ... and the pores are big T.T

Avene has a sensitive skin line. U could give that a try as they have trial kits available. Stay away fr products that contain alcohol, strong fragrance and mineral oil.

ahhhhhh really frustrating!!!

Facial wash can only do so much in preventing pimples. U need to stop washing ur face so many times a day. limit to 2 times a day. get yourself an anti acne cream like Benzac or OXY...as long as it contains 2.5% to 5% benzoyl peroxide...start with 2.5% first. if u find ur face getting oily get a pack of oil blotting paper/sheet (Gatsby or Clean n Clear).

thanks bro for the advice, do u know what make the pimple grow?? really frustrating when u wash ur face than couple days later a pimple pop up for no reason...any idea?

stress, hormones, clogged pores, genetics, bad diet...got quite a few causes. there is no proper cure for acne/pimples. as long as u have a good face care regime u can lessen the outbreaks. just washing isn't going to be enough. try using a light oil free moisturizer. washing ur face so many times n not using a moisturizer could be one of the causes of pimples too.
