never use b4 a toner and moisturiser so need to ask something,

according to instruction,
after washing face with cleanser a rinsing with water, i apply toner

and according to instruction i gotta apply moisturiser afterward, but does it means with the toner on or rinse the toner away with water or let the toner dry 1st?

and after the applying moisturiser, do i rinse with water or leave it to dry?

Leave both toner n moisturizer on...no need to wash off. Toner usually takes no longer den 1 minute to dry.

yes usually you wait for the toner to dry off only then you apply moisturizer. you can set your hair while waiting for your toner to dry rclxms.gif

Added on February 10, 2011, 3:02 amQuestion: My face sometime gets itchy spots (on the cheek, chin or t-zone area) and those spots can leave me with reddish marks (like mosquito's bite, only much smaller). This happens a couple hours after I apply toner and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide.

So the question is, which one causes the irritation?; the toner or the 2.5%? Is there such cases like a toner allergy?

I've experimented by applying one at a time and the result is the same - reddish itchy spots. maybe the brand? rclxub.gif icon_question.gif

Should be the BP. I have the same itch occurred at the same places like you. I didn't apply any toner.
So it should be the BP .

where to find someone to do a study of our own facial and able to recommend the right stuff to apply.
is there a huge different comparing the top of the line moisturizer, cleanser, toner etc such as bio theme , loreal etc to those selling in the pharmacy that cost less than 20 bucks ?

I have used most of the Homme line before. I find Laneige Homme products fairly average. The cleansers are good and come in huge 180ml tubes so will last long time. the toners are a waste of money. the sebum free multi fluid is ok but controls oil n shine for 1-2 hrs. the moisturizers are rather greasy. the sleeping pack is full of alcohol. the essence is probably the best of the whole line but it is really heavy so suitable only for nite use. However I doubt i'll repurchase any Laneige Homme products.

U can get the trial set fr the seller called Wizard_Scorpion. I bought mine last year fr her for RM60 (comprised of 6 items).

I don't understand the first part of your question. R u looking for a dermatologist or a place to do facial ?

The difference is mainly in the concentration of active ingredients. Often the cheaper pharmacy products will only give the very minimal of results so to avoid getting sued.

basically, i want to know the condition of my face from someone who are honest on my face condition . i been to some beautician parlor and always try to sell me and sign up the package in the hurry. One time i was told to buy a swiss moist cream for RM 399... damn... nothing spectacular and my wrinkle is still there. It is suppose to make my wrinkle line go away.

So i need some advise on good product without having to burn my wallet for something i can't change. I believe that product i got does not made for guy facial due to thicker skin texture?

Maybe u can visit a dermatologist to answer your questions. Not cheap though.

If u want to get rid of wrinkles try using a product that contains retinol (or different forms of it). Make sure the concentration of retinol is indicated. One product that I have read good reviews about is Avene Diacneal. It's mainly a product for acne and scars but also works well on wrinkles because of the retinol. U can get it at pharmacies for RM60-70, 30ml.

I've not gone for facials before so wouldn't know.

Do a price comparison btwn the men n women packages. It might be possible that they charge a higher price for men packages as they think men r gullible when it comes to this sort of things.

Any products that can reduce pores/pimple scars on my face especially on my nose?

Also, my skin tend to be oil/shiny and "not clear" with alot of pores (noticeable from near only) on my nose and cheeks. It kind of made my skin "not smooth". Any experts here can advice?

Thanks

Depends on how oily ur skin is. I usually use 2-4 sheets a day. But i space it out..one sheet every 2-3 hrs. my t zone is very oily n other parts of the face normal. I dun use the sheets during the night.

Some say that using those sheets makes ur skin produce more oil. But i still use em coz it's much faster than blotting with tissue paper.
