Hi, can someone recommend me an earphone or headphone. It's used mostly for song listening and the types of songs which I listen to are Techno/Trance and Classical. Something with decent cable length would be a nice addition as well. I'll be hooking it up to my laptop all the time.

I listen to a wide range of formats too, but mostly 128+ kbps mp3, AAC, flac and ogg vorbis.

Budget is around RM100.

It'll be great if the headphones are easliy accessible through lowyat forums or some local shops. Thanks in advance.

For headphones try Audio Techinca T22, Philips SHP2700.
For earphones try Creative ep630, Lear le01, koss ksc75.

P.S. Someone should seriously start & pin a thread compiling a list of prices of headphones/earphones in the market (especially for budget ones) for easier references.

ATH-T22 is a good headphone, i think you would not disappointed getting it.

I used EP-630 before so I would not recommend it if you're into something more serious with ~RM 100 budget.
Le01 the IEM has been gaining good reputation here after reviewed by ClieOS, while KSC 75 is usually recommended for those who don't mind sound-leakage but superb SQ.

Yeah... I think the best if the mod can gather the headphone/earphone list and put them on a pinned list, easier for everyone to look for it.

I've looked up into some reviews including ClieOS'. I remember someone mentioning Le01's SQ being pretty close to Bijou's.

I own a pair myself, never tried bijou before so can't compare myself but I believe le01 does the job just fine for the price (rm80 that time).

Is PX100 worth to get for RM200? Or are there better choices? My friends asked me to ask it here. They want either clip ons or earphones. I recommended them PX100, is it good enough?

in the market for a gaming headset.

needs to have mic, current eye-ing the sennheisher pc151.

considering this an investment so willing to spend ~RM2k. needs to have a mike and be portable. will be using it with a laptop so no room for an amp tongue.gif

I've already a pair of Sennheiser HD800's for general use.

corad, u already have HD800?

Can posts some photo here for ogling? And which location in Sarawak u live in? If near, i might go for a visit tongue.gif

Btw, i suggest HD25-1-II, USD170-199. Very durable and compact. The soundstage not as big as the other fullsize can though, like the usually recommended gaming headphone AD700, A700, AD900, A900, etc. Those AT headphones are HUGE

a tough question though, both seems to be good earphones.

Since I dont have CK32, I can't give comment on it. Btw Bijou is nice, in you're into clarity & detail.
