from what i've seen, grado sr's aren't build with comfort in mind, if you are wearing it for long hours, unless you go DIY and change the cushions.

ES stands for Ear Suit which hints at something hip/cool/trendy, so its targeted at portability, while NC is Noise Cancellation which offer total(?) isolation so you can enjoy your music even when someone is screaming on top of their lungs beside you. And i believe ANC7>ES7? Correct me if i'm wrong. No personal experiences on both cans. But in the end, its up you to decide which one suit your needs.

QUOTE(sukatra_aicaca @ Jan 10 2009, 11:24 PM) depends on what you listen or use it for. philips headphones are known for their bass, so if hip hop, dance, rock is your thing, then its for you. its a semi-open headphone, so the there's a bit of sound leakage. while on the other hand, SENNHEISER HD201 is selling around 100 here at the forum. Maybe try tat if bass isn't your thing? |

QUOTE(sukatra_aicaca @ Jan 11 2009, 05:51 PM) normally, headphones can be divided between open and closed, where open ones let sounds in and out (would be a distraction if the environment is noisy & disturb the surrounding if your volume is too high) which in turn have better sound quality while closed ones is the opposite. and in this case, shp2700 is semi or half open, so just to let you know that it leaks abit of sound if you do mind about that =) |

QUOTE(kkw @ Jan 12 2009, 08:42 AM) I don't think it would be fair to compare an earphone with a headphone. Its like comparing a kancil with a waja, if you catch my drift. =oThis post has been edited by rickylaw86: Jan 12 2009, 04:50 PM |

QUOTE(ilovecookies92 @ Feb 12 2009, 01:05 AM) Same here. Need recommendation from pros. guess Creative EP-630 IEM is within your range.- what you currently have Sansa Express (2GB Mp3 and Pendrive 2 in 1) / N82 - what type of usage Music - source MP3 99% WMA etc 1% (Preferable 192 kbps and above bitrate). 128 is ok. - type of music listen to Rock, Pop, R&B, Live, HipHop, Slow Music (No techno). - personal requirements Preferable just sufficient/good bass included. Clear and crisp sound. Do prefer if the earphones can be loud enough, more likely for Mp3 usage. Not those big head jack. - Budget : RM 60 and below. Basic usage. For headphones try Audio Techinca T22, Philips SHP2700.
For earphones try Creative ep630, Lear le01, koss ksc75. P.S. Someone should seriously start & pin a thread compiling a list of prices of headphones/earphones in the market (especially for budget ones) for easier references. |

QUOTE(kevynster @ Mar 4 2009, 09:07 PM) I've looked up into some reviews including ClieOS'. I remember someone mentioning Le01's SQ being pretty close to Bijou's. I own a pair myself, never tried bijou before so can't compare myself but I believe le01 does the job just fine for the price (rm80 that time). This post has been edited by rickylaw86: Mar 4 2009, 09:18 PM |
