Hi,

I need some recommendations here. I've narrowed my choices into these two :

Grado Sr60
Audio Technica ATH-ad300

Both in the same price range and are open type h.phones I presume. So, which one is better? I doubt the sr60 cans is too small according to the pictures I've seen on the net.

Most usage will be on music and hopefully connected with an amplifier in the future.

Or is there any better ones I can get with RM310 range. AKG, AT, Grado, Sennheiser or whatsoever.

i will not recommend KSC75 if you are using it outdoor though
sound leakage is terrible, u ought to get an IEM instead

Debating if I should get a grado or i should go for a sennheiser. Heard that the sound of the grado is great but is very uncomfortable. Also i usually use closed earphones to listen at home, can i hear the outside sounds when i use the grado?

Yes you can.. Grado and senn have totally diff sound signature so its best to try them both..

i'm using iphone 3g
finding for a very good earphones with a mic
so far i only see V-moda vibe got good sounds
with a mic but abit too pricey.
but really dont have any other model
i might have to get it.......

Listening to mainly instrumental rock/metal. Think Steve Vai, Dream Theater etc.
Mostly high bit rate mp3, but some loseless wma (bought some cds).
Budget is rm200 +-

I've spotted Sennheiser MX660, but would actually prefer something that goes in the ear canal, to block ambient noise.
