I'm trying to purchase either Sennheiser MX-660 or CX-500 and I'm still have no idea on which one to purchase.
I've used Aztech canalphones before and I must admit that I need to fit it really deep inside my ear to hear the true bass. Wonder will it be the same for CX? I really don't want to hurt my ear drum. BTW, I've also heard from people saying that MX (earbud) is not good for noise isolation and might cause deaf since the volume need to be turned high in order to hear the music. Wonder will it be true for CX (canalphones)? Will I be experiencing hearing loss as I need to place it deep within my ear? |

Just bought a cheap Pioneer earphone.
in burning stage now...mid and high sound harsher now,but does have wide soundstage..but definitely not overwhelming bass..which is what I like.... maybe more burn in will cure the 'bright' sound in time. rm59 at Jaya Jusco AU2 Just to offer some alternative to EP-630 ![]() This post has been edited by CV6149: Jan 2 2009, 05:19 PM |

Hi,
Am looking for high quality IEM, any good suggestion? Top in the line etc? I cant really found relevant details on the net cause there many many many jap branded tat we nvr heard before. Wonder tat some hardcore person can answer my question? Cause mostly wat i saw in the internet is Koss, Sennheiser, Klipsch, Audio Technical, etc. I am asking here because i dont trust on ppl reviews, hardly see a bad one from professional reviews. user reviews yes, but most of them jus used few series of IEM. Cheers. This post has been edited by OldKidz: Jan 3 2009, 10:48 AM |

Most important aspect is the price range. It can go from RM2 to RM4000+ for ONE iem. From no name crap bud to custom IEM.
money =/= quality. Try Bose, B&O, etc |

B&O is very comfort but bass wise not tat satisfied me, maybe my frenz B&O earphone is still new, havent burn enough yet? Bose is ok for me, jus curious tat seldom got ppls talk bout it. But I do see ppls selling it off, donno y. |

Jaben is at Adelphi
If I'm not mistaken you shd alight at City Hall station Just ask any passer-by, they will point you to the shop. Very friendly wan the people there. Ask anyone sure they will teach. But if memory serves me well it's just opposite Funan. It's at the.... 3rd floor I think. But don't worry, Adelphi is a small place, won't take you more than 10 mins to find Jaben. They allow testing, got lots of choice too. You can test to your heart's content. Shure, A-T got. Cos I tested those two last time This post has been edited by phoenixxx: Jan 3 2009, 12:19 PM |

Hahah yea it's at SG my friend!!!
Price-wise I can't tell you anything, cos I just bought there without testing at any other shop. Cos I was in SG for a short time only, no chance to go scout around. But service is good. They will happily recommend you phones to try. I sat there for over an hour till my Ipod battery kosong the other time. |

It's the very first generation of Ipod Nano... but that's besides the point.
Walabies is "THE" headphones supplier here... head over to the bulk section and you can find his thread as well as his products... In fact I will be dealing with him soon. First time also This post has been edited by phoenixxx: Jan 3 2009, 12:34 PM |
