Are you saying only speakers like Axiom or B&W's alike will truly benefit a power amp?

No worry bro. It is just a suggestion bcoz 2.8k for Marantz SR6003 is cheap. Just go with what your pocket comfortable with. I use Yamaha before. It's a good avr but for the price 665 is so not worth it (compare to what 663 was selling back then). So go with Denon 1909

No worry. Chord CSC also very good in bringing out those mid and high. It is in the same league as QED SA XT.

QUOTE(htkaki @ Nov 11 2009, 08:55 AM) Only for a while and there is an issue wt his avr. He bought HK pwr amp to drive the M80. such as Klipsch? My 1800 is with him now until he gets his 4310. With the pace of upgraditis and the quest for better floorstanders, power amp is the way to go. 4310 is puny to do the job. Unless it is driving highly efficient 8ohm loudspeakers. |
