QUOTE(hanhanhan @ Jun 16 2009, 12:25 AM) workin yesterday.. subcrew cap 3.6 shirt evisu AF-1 infrared i like your square frames =) you may want to choose a shirt which is cut shorter as the shirt you're wearing now is meant to be tucked in, and you may also want to uncuff your jeans, because what is happening now is the outfit is making your legs look short, in turn making your whole body look shorter.. Before After my god, how many suits do you own? lol.. Added on June 17, 2009, 7:08 pmme trying on my brother's suit jacket: suit jacket by granoff shirt by topman tie: D3 which im selling This post has been edited by jind86: Jun 17 2009, 07:08 PM

QUOTE(FusioneX @ Jun 17 2009, 07:25 PM) That's some suppression there. What is the suit jacket's waist measurement? i just wore the jacket again and it was fine, its probably the way i slanted to the right slightly which created that.. the natural waist is 16" across.. Attached thumbnail(s)

FusionEx, regarding that look I feel that brown/burgundy shoes with gray pants works better. Elegance at the top but it feels tad boring from the waist down.

That would equate to a 32" jacket waist circumference. From the measurement, it seems that your brother is really slim and the jacket is cut really close to his waist. I agree with that but I have yet to get a pair of brown calf / burgundy cordovan. Still saving money for that perfect pair at P.Lal's. No brown shoes at other retail stores has caught my attention yet.. which is why I'm still making do with my black lace-ups. Speaking of which, black shoes do rock too, if you look at yfyf's pictures in SF. I'm a big fan of his.

SF fact : I share the same birthday with yfyf! I do love his outfits especially those with a raincoat. Meanwhile do take your time hunting on brown shoes. hehe. I feel the urge to go sockless tomorow. The pants will be a pair of cuffed navy dress pants with black derbies. Should I? This post has been edited by calvinloke: Jun 17 2009, 09:24 PM

Thank you

Thank you If you are planning to wear it under the blazing hot sun, the answer would be no as corduroys are thick and heavy. I have a corduroy blazer myself and I only wear it in air-conditioned places, like a walk in the mall but even so, it still feels a little warm. I smell 'Hollywood Red Carpet" - the conundrum for sartorial woes. Let's hope Granoff keeps to most tailoring traditions and not go to wild with new ideas. I haven't come across any no show socks yet but I would rather show my socks if I'm really wearing socks. Since you are a fan of yfyf, do you undo the second button on your left sleeves as well?
