eik? well the slim fit polo (white) is definitely a better fit than the custom (pink) one.. hmmm mayb this "tucking in just the front" look doesn't work.. lol.. as when i leave the back only untucked, it actually tends to bunch up more..

heya thanks guys.. hmmm actually i purposely wore these white shoes to achieve like this justin timberlake look.. i like it though.. (i actually even wear suits with white sneakers - for casual of course)
and btw is going beltless really a bad look for me or do u guys just need to see a belt on a person to be satisfied ? lol.. because i do not see it as a necessity for me.. in fact, GQ recommends going beltless to give a taller impression.. Added on January 12, 2009, 6:59 pmand besides, come on guys i can't be putting on the same thing everyday as my WAYWT.. i got to be versitile as well as reflect my personality, and one of them is by this type of look with the dress pants and white sneakers (i have my loafers and dress shoes for another WAYWT) This post has been edited by jind86: Jan 12 2009, 11:55 PM |

of course these magazines are merely a guide for readers, GQ is more American where else the forums you visit are most likely AAAC and sf.net where they have alot of English members and their dressing style is totally different.. there's of course no right or wrong in whether it is relevant or not in style/fashion..
but then it boils down to whether you guys think the absence of my belt makes me look bad or do you guys think it's simply more appropriate with a belt or what is the reason? personally the reason for me to go beltless is quite simple, i basically only have one formal belt and i tend to skip the belt at times, in addition i have already featured the belt (M&S one) in this thread therefore i try not to feature the same clothing articles.. but pls do let me know what is wrong with my beltless look =) |

ok thanks calvin for your opinion, i actually left the technical side to my tailor.. and from my point of view, the suit looks great.. well i actually got my suit from Lord's and the master tailor Robert Loh himself attended to me, he has dressed Mel Gibson, Muhammad Ali, and Siti Nurhaliza to name afew familiar ones, therefore i would assume that he is one of the best tailors in Malaysia..

the picture u showed seems to have narrow shoulders, my shoulders are broad, take in any more in the shoulders and it would be stiff for movement.. sleeve pitch is off because i have my watch on the left hand and it was not adjusted for this particular shot..
in my opinion the jacket sleeve on the picture u showed me is too short, and too much shirt cuff is showing, thats clearly like one and a half inch of shirt cuff shown.. the shoulders on the other hand look fake, they dont flow down naturally to the sleeves.. alright, i actually did bring the matter of the shoulders to my tailor, however he insisted that if he would take in more in the shoulders, there would be no ease for movement..

Fusion[eX] - yeah this should be discussed there
calvinloke - yupp thats what ive been told, and there's supposedly something about one side of my shoulders being uneven which requires a little more shoulder padding to balance both sides.. nope i did not mention anything about the armholes to the tailor.. hmmm i dont see anything wrong with placing the belt under the label of the jeans.. in fact the label is made to allow space underneath it for a belt to go through.. some may choose to go on it, some may choose to go underneath it.. no right or wrong..

QUOTE(calvinloke @ Jan 22 2009, 10:45 PM) Passing it below the label would give people the wrong idea that you are brandishing the label instead. maybe thats exactly the idea which he is trying to display? the degree to what is considered subtle is arguible.. personally i would consider that small label on the jeans as being subtle, i wouldnt know the brand of that jeans unless i really stared at his ass..Added on January 22, 2009, 11:11 pmFlizzardo - what are u wearing? reference pls..
