Thanks guy! Glad you all liked it. I will post more photos soon...
Not sure why some people are so conservative. Embrace fashion! ![]() ![]() photos from JMSF, MR PORTER. Now would you say their jackets are too small too? Anyways, I have been really inspired by Thom Browne lately. And soon after seeing G-Dragon wearing the FW12 collection, the inspiration really hit me to take up the challenge to DIY. So I have decided to replicate one of his amazing designs, by studding the above suit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.vogue.co.uk/fashion/autumn-wint...otos/gallery/43 It is still incomplete, I have yet to stud the part of the back shoulder pads and both back elbows. Approximately 190+ spikes required, and an estimate time of 28 hours to complete the studding process. There is a Singaporean store online that currently carries most of this collection, pretty crazy. Also in SSENSE and Barneys New York, check it out. http://surrenderous.com/labels?cat=thom-browne |

Id have to say that theres two types of people:
1. The classic-sartorialist 2. The fashion-sartorialist (i made this up just now, so pardon me if it sounds weird) For the first type, they prefer the classic cut where the length must be proper, neither too big nor too small. For the second, well, Maurice (or Couleur) here would be a great example. There is nothing wrong with either types. If you're the first type, youd have to open up your mind and accept that having the suit jacket a bit small (which creates the X shape) is fine. If youre the second type, youd have to accept that the classical cut is indeed evergreen and lovely as it is (especially to those in conservative fields such as the legal field). Both are indeed fashionable and very sharp looking. p.s: Maurice/Couleur, id love to steal your Balmain boots if id ever get the chance to do so. |

Erm no idea who's Esquire's best dressed but it was Yves Saint Laurent who said it. Rhetorical question, that was.
