Irmond and 920819, pardon me but i believe both of you went a bit overboard with your comments.
Irmond, you shouldnt have said what you said. How would you feel if you post a picture of something you wore and someone gave an awful comment for no justifiable reason apart from the fact that he does not concur with your taste in clothes. You may comment if his fashion sense is not up to your taste, but please do it politely. We are here to give positive criticism not hurtful, negative criticism. 920819, you have a nice heart but sadly, you failed to voice it out it in the most appropriate manner. Yes what he said himself was rather rude but dont jump into the same boat, please. You were as rude as he was by cussing and giving examples by using the word "mother." I would be pretty sure that you wouldnt like people to tell you off by mentioning your mother, right? So please, if you may, do voice out your nice heart in a polite way. Im sorry to both of you if my comments is offensive but Im just being honest from what I feel based on reading your comments and I mean the best with this comment of mine. I have none the slightest intention to belittle both of you or be offensive to both of you. I hope both of you would take this comment from me in the most positive manner. Thank you. Added on August 27, 2011, 9:30 pmoh and sorry for being a bit winding there. got a bit carried away. This post has been edited by JeffxMatt: Aug 27 2011, 09:30 PM |

Id have to say that theres two types of people:
1. The classic-sartorialist 2. The fashion-sartorialist (i made this up just now, so pardon me if it sounds weird) For the first type, they prefer the classic cut where the length must be proper, neither too big nor too small. For the second, well, Maurice (or Couleur) here would be a great example. There is nothing wrong with either types. If you're the first type, youd have to open up your mind and accept that having the suit jacket a bit small (which creates the X shape) is fine. If youre the second type, youd have to accept that the classical cut is indeed evergreen and lovely as it is (especially to those in conservative fields such as the legal field). Both are indeed fashionable and very sharp looking. p.s: Maurice/Couleur, id love to steal your Balmain boots if id ever get the chance to do so. |

Its not about expensive brands, its how you wear them. Im pretty sure if CHiNO730 were up for it, he can make pasar malam clothes look very stylish and expensive. (no offence to pasar malam clothes yeah. I myself buy them; Im a thrift hunter you see)
