i think the only good abt k850 is only its xenon. other than that nope. better get urself c902 than k850.

Nway, at last c902 hv its own dedicated thread.congratz

Kinda boils down to what feature you are looking for as both these phones have pros and cons

Basic things to note:

k850 has Xenon whereas c902 is LED

k850 has a bigger screen compare to c902

k850 is almost double the size to c902

k850 has a funky keypad whereas c902 has a "hard-to-press" keypad

c902 has a cool camera slider feature

My Internet function only shows OPTUS ZOO...dun hav the "Earth" icon!!! R there anyway I'm able to delete the OPTUS ZOO icon...

Coz its irritating...the only way i can go online is thru "My Shortcut" function..other wise..it will automatic log onto Optus site, then only I hav to select other webpages!!!!

If you want to go up to 8gb, would recommend you to get the Ultra version. I am using a 4gb version for mine and its a breeze... no lags wat so ever

Got my Sandisk 4gb Ultra for RM108. Its definitely more pricey then the normal version but the performance is fantastic.

There are a number of trustable handphone sellers here in LYN (Renee, BDL, mike7, hairul, & a few more)

However please be careful when dealing online since you are located in JB then most likely they have to post the phone to you.

My suggestion would be to scout LYN prices and scout around JB for similar prices. If price range is around the same then just pickup the one from JB. Also since you are getting AP pls do your research on which AP company to get warranty from.

That was my dilemma as well. End of the day you gotta ask yourself what you want out of your phone? Both these phone have good pros and cons.

For me I found that the c902 was more cool in design (and the Titanium Silver version made it stand out more ) I compare the sample shots from both threads and concluded that c902 shots were better/sharper. G900 has the edge with a bigger screen and its even touch screen! But I decided to go old school and stick to the usual SE interface that I am used to and play with the awesome slider design as I want something which I can snap on the go.

Maybe the rest can also share why they chose to upgrade to c902?

Oh and before I forget, a Merry Christmas to all!

PS: Almost forgot G900 has wifi capabilities as well.

It has to be C902 man! It is so cool..it definitely look cool on anyone..its slim, solid & its so cool when u take pix in the dark wif the all blue glowing button on the screen and the blue line on near the lens. Well, if u want touch screen then u better get Iphones & etc..for me..I carry a blackberry & C902..emails wif BB & shots wif C902!!!

It all depends on ur requirements. Do u need the wi-fi? Do u want the touch screen? Do u mind a not so slim design? Just my 2 cents!

both different thing, G online, C camera.

but due to limited size of phone screen. i thk u wont be using it for online purposes .....
for me online is not suit for 2inch ++ size screen phones, yeay Iphone blackberry will be good choice for online...

i wan snap n go function so i go for C902

G900 is business category. C902 is cybershot. both 5MP camera but C902 will be better. G900 main focus is it has Wifi and other business use things ie: biz card scanner, email...

Your points are all correct except the "not so slim design" part as both g900 and c902 share similar dimensions. Main diff is g900 is 2.5mm thicker

Oops!!! hehehe...but if u wanna buy look for Renee @ LYN..very good deal

hi guys...would like to ask...can the c902 photo light work as something like torch light ? can i turn it on during the dark ? or can only use when take photo ?

I am quite disapointed with my C902 (AP set)'s brightness.... the screen is very dim,
and difficult to see the callers name, message name...etc...viewing photo also very dim...
and also found that the photo taken using camera also very dim !

U only can use it in ur Video mode, as for taking photo..its automatic!!

if u want use as torch light therefore switch to video mode..that'll do..

as for firmware..dunno wether the older firmware supports this coz i bought my phone wif the latest FW (R3DA028)..mine's AP!

at 1st, i was quite attracted by c902 and planning to swap my current w810i for it...
but after seeing these picts, i think i'll stay away from c902...the lack of xenon is no-no...

A fixed light can be activated by switching to Video Mode.

Before updating your FW please make sure to backup everything you can via PC Suite/MyPhoneExplorer

Have you compared it with an other c902? Maybe it could be a LCD problem?

Tried complaining to where you purchased your phone?

I upgraded from w810i to c902 and I am very very happy with my upgrade. IMO no matter how good the camera if the user does not use the correct settings the picture won't appear nice. Not necessarily must always depend only on "Auto" settings.

I have to admit the lack of Xenon makes night portrait shots looks bare but I am the type of person that prefers not to use flash but natural lighting so maybe that is why I am happy with my non-Xenon c902

planning getting phone around 500-800 only.. so the only left only 2nd hand..

800 ...really hard to get it.. go for 2nd hand but check properly before u pay ...

if u want to have SOS light on yr C902,

do > * < < * < * then you get into Service, choose service test then flash LED, have yr camera open then u get the SOS light

i have used this phone quite nice phone.....titanium silver used....but the camera zooming is not using a lens its using the software so little bit blur.....need to update a james bond software if can haha./.......no time so sell off ready....

its digital zoom~ is VERY BLUR ~ ... hahaah so fast sell it off! how much u sell it ?
