hye there guys, ive been wondering.. cani install garmin mobile xt on the c902? cause i have a holux 236 lying around that i dont use anymore.. would like to pair it with the c902 if i can..

c902 dun have gps hardware installed. U'll need sony ericsson accessories to get the gps work with google map.

err..for those whos update their 902 into latest firmware version (R3EA038), do u find the brightness for video recording is too dark compare to the previous firmware??

I have a problem with my c902. I tried to modify may cam driver but unfortunately my camera now is not working. I tried chombos 2.1 final, brazzuka and eltoffer but the problem is still there. I used A2uploader in modifying my cam driver installed in ifs/settings/camera. anyone can help me? TIA!

Added on September 29, 2009, 10:13 amI tried also to install flash menu and flash themes and it works. my only problem is the camera of my phone. my software version is R3EA038.

I think you better send it to the service center for a checkup. Are you running on the latest firmware?

if not mistaken that particular camdriver u may be using was for previous firmwares. last time i modded mine also but when snap photos the camera auto shuts. best u use back the original camdriver. got back up righT?

New user of C902 here


Couple of things bother me...background light sensor...can I disable it, because the light dimming really annoys...Im used to it but it would be great without it really...

Also, since I own a branded phone (I debranded it already) - how do I remove the notorious stamp which is located here



I dont want to buy some b grade mask that will squeek and feel "cheap", what are my options, can I buy original SE mask without brand logo in tht place, only "Cybershot" ?

Can I remove that part under the keypad without taking the whole phone apart?

the light sensor can not be disabled. its on most latest SE phones and im also annoyed by it.
