I always wanted to get a bottle of Safari but they only come in big bottles that cost RM260.

if u have the budget then go for it. well i just received one as a gift recently and i highly recommend it. it smells super strong when u first put it on, but after a while it sorts of blends in and gets better by the hour.

I've got too many bottles already and i'm running out of space to store them. Maybe next year after I finish some of what i have.

Btw, how long does Safari last on you ? and how is the projection/sillage ?

It's not bad and a perfect office scent. CK Man has a distinctive mint note that is rather refreshing. I've not worn CK Man in months and I think it's time to offload my bottle LOL.

Regular Euphoria is nice and I like it a lot but its too weak and short lasting. RM200 for something weak is really not worth it.

Euphoria Intense has good longevity and sillage but I find it a little too sweet for the 1st 2 hrs after spraying. Even though Euphoria Intense was intended to be a longer lasting.richer version of Euphoria, it doesn't have that luxurious suede note that is in regular Euphoria which I like.

Generally the majority of CK colognes don't really last very long and tend to be light. I find the older CKs like Be and One to be better than the newer releases. But Be and One have become so famous that almost everyone has a bottle some point in time in their lives. Similar situation with Davidoff Cool Water.

CK does a better job making women's perfume than mens cologne.

What kind of vibe are u looking for from a cologne ? Hairy chest masculinity?, metrosexual?, teenager?, casual?, the beach?, office? or clubbing?

give YSL L'Homme a try. It very versatile and fresh smelling but still unique enough to stand out a bit from the crowd.

I was just about to post.

Well it starts off very nicely with grapefruit and a lot of tea. As the hours go by the tea becomes more prominent and grapefruit almost fades away completely, leaving just a hint. The spice in the background becomes more prominent too after about 2 hours.
By the 4 hour mark Soir becomes a tea and spice dominant fragrance. Soir also has less pepper compared to Bulgari Pour Homme and Bulgari Pour Homme Extreme. Overall longevity and sillage is better than Bulgari Pour Homme but losses out to Bulgari Pour Homme Extreme. However, I still prefer Bulgari Pour Homme Extreme as it smells a bit more unique compared to Soir. That being said, I am tempted to get myself a bottle of Soir tongue.gif

I hope this helps you Anubiz.

You should test out Bulgari PH Extreme too and compare it with Soir n see which one you like. Just don't expect Soir to be very long lasting and people have to go very close to detect Soir on you. Remember to spray one or two times on skin too n wait a few hours before deciding to buy Soir.

LOL. Oh man you've discovered my secret then blush.gif

I won't call it a small Malaysian community. There are only 6 of us that actually post often on the forums. Joey-kun, a main contributor to this thread is a member too.

I won't buy Bulgari Pour Homme even if it was 70% off. It is just too light and a person would have to literally hug u to be able to smell it. That's why they came up with Bulagari Pour Homme Extreme. It is still light but people will be able to smell it on you without having to come really close.
