Scalping is for experts. Please do not try this at home.

Experts is not a scalper..

in FOREX....2 type of most popular trading style is Scalp and Swing...

Scalping = higher risk to loss (gain small pips - 1~5 in 1 position in very short period..will gain more if enter more positions)
Swing = less risk to loss (gain lots of pips in 1 position but hold for a certain period..no need to enter so many positions)

each time u open position in ur trading mean u r facing 1 risk...scalping is more popular among beginner..it is more like gambling..bcoz no need proper analysis to enter d market...but when they reach higher level of knowledge in FOREX...trader will start to bcome swinger...which need them to analyze d market very carefully before open an position.

of course overall...FOREX itself is a very high risk business... blush.gif

just my 50cents. blush.gif

Minimize trades to maximize profits. My advise for you guys.

The more you trade, the more likely you will LOSE. This has already been proven many many times. For those who work @ investment banks, at least they have more tools than a regular trader; that's why their chances increase greatly due to bigger capital and very comprehensive FA reports.

u should also say...the capital is not yours....altho it still a burden....but not as emotional as your own capital

even though u can earn consistently in demo account, it doesn't mean you will perform the same in live account. Don't believe? You can try:)

im using 1k account onli with leverage 1:100. a fren of mine once told me not to be greedy while making a position. just enuff to make a living...hehe

@bulkbiz
yup...im well aware of dat. honestly i already closed 2 demo acc coz i lose almost everything. of course i can start over with new acc since its just a demo. to lose everything with live acc, i think im not ready for dat yet. maybe i need to practice for another couple of months before i can really start with live one...

thx for both of u....i really appreciate it smile.gif

Hi all, just a simple question:

Which do you think it gives you higher in return? Futures or FOREX?

it subjective.
If someone pro in future then forex income is low for him
If someone pro in forex then future income is low for her

Its depend on which fields that you are professional and comfortable at.
For example: If you have day job, then forex will be suitable for you as you can trade at nite session
while CI futures only can traded on day session
