QUOTE(silencer @ Apr 7 2010, 09:46 PM) Thanks for the honest comment ..and it was my fault for wearing that shirt as I was in a hurry for a flight to Aussie as most of the proper dress had been put in the luggage...should iron it first before taking the picture..and I wont throw it away as it is a Zegna dress shirt... By the way...here is the new pic taken with a proper attire... [attachmentid=1516633] congrats to you on your new suit does indeed look good on you, i suppose you shld opt for more open quarters in the future..

QUOTE(tr|n|ty @ Apr 8 2010, 03:10 PM) Hello, Just tailor made a suit for myself. Hope to have some honest opinions about my suit as I generally do not have an idea about it. I just did some rough reading here before I went to visit a tailor. At first, I thought of buying straight off the shelves but some comments here really influenced me to custom make it. It's quite pricey though , much more expensive than padini / g2000 which I planned to get earlier.. So I was wondering if it's worth my money spent. And pardon me for not wearing tie. [attachmentid=1517626] looks good i'd say, nice shoulders, wonderful lapel roll, i like the roped shoulders.. button stance a little too high for my liking, should be lowered a little.. waist probably should be tapered just a little more..

i like the suit by tr|n|ty but my main concern is that is not as shapely on the body.. and im not sure whether just taking in the waist would help.. or would it? hmmm..

QUOTE(nairud @ Apr 9 2010, 04:33 PM) ^ lol, i still owe you a pic of my suit yes you do lol.. QUOTE(lanatir @ Apr 9 2010, 04:48 PM) Relax man. 'Main concern' is quite a strong choice of words I hope you're not losing sleep over it haha. The choice (key word being 'choice') of silhouette should also be tampered with comfort especially once a suit has come to a point that is at the very least acceptable. Trinity has some time away so he can decide afterwards. Or he can go read the thread at SF regarding this in which kotmj/hymo has contributed as well. my main objective in the sentence is to enquire whether or not just tapering the waist would fix the issue? or does it have something to do with the chest area and so on? im not sure if you guys view the silhouette as how i do or not, but the only way i can describe it is that the body isn't outstanding.. because i believe i have the same problem with my Lord's suit and i'm wondering what exactly is the problem and how it can be fixed..

QUOTE(walnek @ Apr 14 2010, 01:34 AM) I will probably need it by the following weekend, latest the week after that. How about yourself? Silencer: No worries mate, it isn't your fault that they dispatched it so quickly. Furthermore, you did offer to share the mailing bundle. It was just unforeseen. well i don't mind purchasing them anytime.. hmm i wonder if we should open a bulk order here? would anyone be interested? lol..

QUOTE(silencer @ Apr 15 2010, 08:24 AM) 4 meters is adequate for plain color, but u need around 4.5 meters for pattern fabric to ensure the pattern is alligned correctly well the lining is all plain color for the emerzine.. so how's the bulk? wanna open a thread in the bulk order section so we can discuss there?
