Here's a RTW from my student days. Heavily altered.
And this is a bespoke tweed from Kuala Terengganu. Ah Loke. I can tell you that this is the tightest among the three. Added on October 12, 2009, 3:51 pmI don't know why I'm so nice to you guys. Added on October 12, 2009, 3:53 pm QUOTE(jind86 @ Oct 12 2009, 03:26 PM) i think im going to ah loke for my next suit =D It wasn't enough! That's why I never show the full length of the trousers. They're 4 inches too short.btw if you don't mind, what's your weight? so three meters of fabric was enough i assume? This post has been edited by kotmj: Oct 12 2009, 03:53 PM |

Yes. I'm serious. I think it makes it special. I don't care what anyone thinks.

I wonder how was the conservative Ahloke's reaction on those pants. "En leng!!, En leng!!"

Unless it is really a cold day, I can hardly comprehend the jeans/tshirt/blazer look in Malaysia. In fact, I think it is absurd. Most importantly, do you feel hot?

I think the trick to being dressy is to pick the right moment. You should not show up to a normal lecture in the middle of the semester with a blazer. For no reason.
But if you're attending a friend's birthday party in a restaurant, it merits something with a sense of occasion. Dressing a bit out of the ordinary is almost a requirement. |

For no reason. yupp, like for me on normal classes i choose to wear polo-t, khakis/jeans, if i know the particular room is very cold, i may choose to wear a cardigan/cotton jacket.. for a special event, birthday party in friends house or even to church, i put on my suit jacket..But if you're attending a friend's birthday party in a restaurant, it merits something with a sense of occasion. For no reason. I actually did one time as the lecture hall was extraordinary cold. And I don't have my cardigan with me. Of course, I don't talk about it and wear it like I don't care.
