But if you're attending a friend's birthday party in a restaurant, it merits something with a sense of occasion. Dressing a bit out of the ordinary is almost a requirement.

a suit jacket would be a better term, topman's materials are pretty alright for both formal and casual (although many may consider their cutting/design a little too trendy).. most of the new stuff are wool and polyester mix..
check out people's for more casual choices, they have a number of low price cotton jackets..
