of course if we are wearing it out when we are working its different but if it is for casual use? any opinion?

I think the trick to being dressy is to pick the right moment. You should not show up to a normal lecture in the middle of the semester with a blazer. For no reason.

But if you're attending a friend's birthday party in a restaurant, it merits something with a sense of occasion. Dressing a bit out of the ordinary is almost a requirement.
*
ermm... u think its funny if i wear a blazer to wedding dinner? never saw anyone wear bfore ^^"' coz if i do get a casual blazer i think i will only wear them on special occasions like party at restaurant like u said, wedding dinner? or dunno where else ^^"'

im guessing you're talking bout something like this:

user posted image

a suit jacket would be a better term, topman's materials are pretty alright for both formal and casual (although many may consider their cutting/design a little too trendy).. most of the new stuff are wool and polyester mix..

check out people's for more casual choices, they have a number of low price cotton jackets..
*
ohh if i am not mistaken the one i saw is wool ^^"'
btw "people's" < is a brand? lol never heard of it... where can i find it?

hmm... i am not good in fabric stuff... which kind of fabric is recommended for a suit? any link or guide around so i can read up? or anyone can help out a bit?

will it be cheaper if i buy my own fabric and ask the tailor to make one for me? or both fabric and service is from the tailor?

i think you should start off by reading some info on the first post, and go around window shopping to take a look at some suits.. looks like you're rushing into getting a custom suit with no idea about a single thing..

Why not? Maybe the guy there doesn't know the world has moved on, and makes fully canvassed stuff with tons of handwork for small change.
*
^^ coz one of my fren check those tailors already when he wanted to make one for his job and end up getting them done in kl ^^ so i think theres a reason to get them done in kl rather than mentakab ^^

Hi guys , does this match Blazer (black), plain tshirt, and shorts.
Grey vest, plain tshirt and skinny jeans.

What colour shirt should i wear?
With design or plain?
What type of collar?

N.B I like to be very fashionable.
*
i've never met anyone wearing blazer vf shorts so far but some magazines, those vf good figure (models) can pull them off really nice ^^"' i'm not very sure anyway

for the vest i've seen quite some ^^ some turn out ok-ok and some turn out ko-ko >.<''

anyway, jind86 did said this to me earlier
