hmm...im going to put Toph and Toby to pet hotel...for 8weeks..
have no choice Usually what are the services the pet shop usually provide in your places? I plan to give them Toph and Toby's food, so at least i know that they will be eating good dry food. anything else i can give them? Obviously i can't give them fresh food....i was wandering how to substitute fresh food...preparing smoothie would be tedious for the petshop to do right? any suggestions? |

i thought feeding hamster with 3-4 mealworms a day is ok? some of the hamster owners here do that...
@cheesebet: i think your hamster needs time to know that the worm is edible, try to cut off the head of the worm, hopefully when your hamster can smell the 'juice', she will attempt to eat it... |

QUOTE(sharkie28 @ Jun 23 2009, 08:11 PM) i know! it was a long time, and i was also quite worried that i have to tame them all over again... but suprisingly, they still can recognise my voice... like if i call them, they will have the alert action...hmm u know like stand on their hind legs and look right, then left...something like that la.. then after few days, Toph climbed on my hand oredi... minta keluar dari tank...hahah but now Toph dunno how many times i put the bedding where he pee to his toilet, and wipe the spot, he will still pee there... stress betul... anyone tried the new vitakraft hamster treats from petshack? just want some reviews..heheh |

LOL.. Toby looks like she always feel itchy, scratch2...then like shake2 like dog wan2 dry off their fur...walao...maybe i should try and wipe her wif damp warm towel...and re-clean her tank...is that ok? ok ok, will try the method nezu..tq..and i bought the vitakraft yogurt treats tru online oredi..hoho cant wait to let them try.... Oh, about the smoothie, i think my hammies prefer the red devil than the one with carrot and papaya la... becoz they usually dont finish their smoothies if its that flavour... |

QUOTE(eric138 @ Jun 29 2009, 08:02 PM) What question u want to bump actually? tq tq....u have answered my question... cant believe all these happen within 2 months when i wasnt active in this forum ha ha...If is bout mixing vitakraft, i think we had answered already. Why prestige quality dropping? You should throw the question back to prestige.. Why do we noe quality dropping? Some of the member realize prestige food contains more and more seeds and corn, which is unhealthy for hammie. And, sometime molds are found inside the packet. |

QUOTE(HyourinMaru @ Jul 4 2009, 11:13 PM) I try dy...But she keep avoiding me u have to be patient Now wat she do is sleep-run-eat-sleep-run-eat and so on. Wat i can do is pet her sometimes. from wat i experience with my Toph, he was like that also at first...i think worst...until made me behave like those mother having post partum depression haha... but its true that we have to be patient to teach them to recognise us... now if i approach Toph, he fast2 go to my hand, will cling to it..like "let me out let me out me wanna play outside" haha..tat one just my imagination la, but he really cling so that he can go out once i pull up my hand... hehe... so...patience lo...this thing dun happen within days..sometimes maybe weeks.. but ur peaches is oredi tamed at first rite? maybe just need to give her time to adapt.. |

I'll let u all knw when we bonded. (Dun expect too early Added on July 5, 2009, 12:58 pmI just found out something Peaches right eye seems to be close all the time and can open a little only. I dun knw wats the reason but i think she got injured but frm wat? There is no sharp object in the tank. Toby's eye also almost gave me a heart attack once, when 1 of her eye was not open when the other on is opened! then again, that was during the day, when she just woke up and was walking to the toilet to pee pee....but at night, i see the eye was as perfect as the other eye... |
