something happened to Toph 2days ago...
i woke up early in the morning to clean their tank, and found out Toph was missing.. he wasnt' in his house, or anywhere in his tank... the small lid of his 2ft tank was opened, so i thought he escaped... i searched all the places i thought he would hide in....but to no success... then my fren came after i alerted them regarding Toph... and said she thinks its impossible for Toph to escape his tank in such tank-setting.. then i said..."takkan he's under the see-saw..." and when i turned over the see-saw toy....He was STUCKED under the see-saw! Goodness gracious...!! he didn't moved and i thought he was already dead until he suddenly 'pop-out' from underneath the see-saw! huhuhuhu it hurted so much to see his condition....his body looked like he was squeezed, and he was wet at his head and bit of his body parts.... fortunately after sometime, he got back to his normal look...eating, drinking, and playing well.... i tot i lost him im not using the see-saw toy oredi...wonder how he got stucked underneath that thing.... u guys better be careful of ur toys ya... |

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Mar 18 2009, 12:12 AM) I would like to have more advanced taming tips for Tiny, since when we try to scoop her she would jump. sophiera...how old is Tiny now? I think if u just continue your effort to tame her - handfeed, carry her out...she will be fine when she gets older....IMO la..Handfeeding is fine now, in fact the only time she would touch a hand was when there's food. Tame enough to handfeed, not tame enough to pick up. Bcoz....last time, i almost lost hope on taming Toph... But when he was 2months plus, he didn't mind me lift him out of his cage, after a while...he's eager to go out, and thats when he started his habit of clinging/climbing on my hand whenever i put my hand in his tank... So...like wat Jamien said patience + love = hmm how oredi a the algebra? hahah... point is, dun stop trying |

QUOTE(speedhunter @ Mar 22 2009, 10:28 AM) hmm...i give them prestige, britter bunny, fresh vege/fruits, uncle taro's smoothie-to-go, and the organic mix supplement (sory, forgot the exact name)...and multivit actually they are not that chubby...i need to find ways to increase their appetite, they seem to be too preoccupied running in the wheel, jump here and there... and then don't really eat much QUOTE(hitz @ Mar 22 2009, 11:52 AM) Look at my signature....their age are written there Added on March 22, 2009, 10:01 pmi think my hammies have some itchiness problem, they will shake2 like they feel very itchy. Anyone know y? mites? Toph has one area on his body [side], will be wetter than other areas after he grooms...anything significant with that? if my hamsters are mite-infestated...how to eliminate mites, apart from cleaning the cage??
