Anw, there are exception for some petshop like petshack but nt many pet shop sell healthy hamster

I only trust reputable pet shop like Pets shack and FLUFF
Other petshop, petaling street's, pets safari etc i dun trust
Yes ur right, unhealthy and inbreed hamster are everywhere, if u dun believe u can ask around other senior member here
Says, if ur a breeder tat are looking for money, u dump 2hamster inside a cage and they start producing offspring
U lazy2 separate the offspring when they sexually mature cause wan2 save cost, duwan buy new cage and they breed among themself
Wouldn't every breeder leave them liddat and supply to petshop since its the faster way to make money and get alot of offspring

Usually we can only distinguish a healthy hamster by selecting a active, alert, energetic, bright eyes, clean nose etc but we wont know if they are inbreed or not

i got a story and question..
my fren gave me a 2yrs male hammy that in gold n white sort of colour
my own was winter white (they still young)..
first i put a male white winter in white/gold hammy ended up they fight so i put back..
then i try a female de she seems scared the male gold/white hammy keep smelling on her (they dun fight)
so i put the female back after some hour then they seems smelling on the female n fight..
does it mean they judge enemy by smell?

sorry i'm a hopeless owner of hammy i thought they live hapily on each other..

i ended up get a bite on my 'mother finger'..

from your picture i came across your hamsters having this white abcess kinda thing on their eyes...it could be galucoma or may not be anything at all...could you post a clearer pic?

2. Fluff Pet Store ( But like closed down de )
3. Pet Lover Center Sunway Pyramid
4. Petsmore Subang SS15
5. Pet Wonderland Midvalley

Already been observing Pet Wonderland de hamster for like a few times for this months... only found 1 full white WW Pearl among all the hamster at Pet Wonderland ( other pet store have no full white WW )...and she's quite tame...easy handle on hand...very active around the cage this noon after I observing for like half n hour ^^ So decided to take her even the price is abit high thou... RM25 

err...circle around means...got problem le...last time got ppl post before a clip the hamster keep circle de...then senior say got problem de...try read back see...

Actually, I went with Jason86 today de...to the SS2 Home breeder house...then lunch at SS2 and later Fluff Pet Store  Later on Jason got appointment so I went to sunway and Midvalley myself

And yea..I have doubts whether I could tame the hamsters or not..These few days..I tried putting hand down while calling them to come..They just smell smell then run away. They then would went crazy and try to find ways to escape from the cage..Am I scaring them away ??   

Erm...habitrail food..... not really a recommended one....

I don think giving sunflower seeds/corn as part of the main diet is a good diet.. giving as treats would be better...

Im going to U & had to stay in campus next month,my family refuse to take care all of my WW hamster,so im in dillema should i let it go & sell the stuff or not...=.=.

Mealworms and crickets are good sources of protein but it's not necessary if you really can't bear with feeding insects. Hard-boiled egg white, plain soft tofu, boiled chicken and bone are all good substitutes. You can also play around with their treats to make things interesting. You can chop some carrot, tofu and egg white into half inch cubes then coat them with wheatgerm before serving. My gerbils like these, but I used to serve these to my hams last time. Sprouts are very nutritious.
