hmm...syrian breeders are hard to find la especially in our country...or you could just go around looking for young ones in petshops...older ones are nt very hard to tame if you're committed.

My dad's friend at the office, who gave me Berry and Cherry apparently breeds Syrians..He told my dad he got about 40+ Syrians at home la..Whether is true or not I dunno la..haha..But the owner and the hamster size almost the same my dad said.. tongue.gif tongue.gif

wow! is he a true breeder or he does it just for the sake of breeding(which means for fun/in his free time/to multiply hamsters).
it is definately a good news if he's really a breeder.could you ask him if he keeps track of his litters and their genetics?
got lots of questions to ask coz i'm excited there's a syrian breeder!
but is he keeping few syrians in one cage, that could be REALLY REALLY bad.
*
I'm not sure but I think he treats his hamsters good kua..Like when He wanted to give me dad Cherry and Berry, He purposely used his lunch break to go back home and bring the hamster with the cage to the office, coz he said that in the morning they're still sleeping..Dont want ganggu them..

If he is not doing full time on breeding, to really take good care of 40-50 hammie somemore do breeding is really hard..

unless he got hire someone to take care of the hamster while he working..

Becoz if u really do breeding on so much hammie, u nid to do lot paper work and physical work also... takes you a lot of time space and money..
*
Well..Since he claimed to have that kind of amount and I dont have pics of it then dont think too much lo..Think he's like in his 30's and he's still single..maybe that's why he got time to take care of the hamsters?

Unless he doesnt hav a job then got time. But no job how to pay the maintenance fees?40+ hammie maintenance fees cost a bomb lol. hmm.gif
*
Haha..Works at the same office where my dad's working..Anyway unless I saw any pics of him and his hamsters then cant prove whether is he really a hamster breeder or not.. But if really want a Syrian or anything all I can only do is to ask him whether he can give me some to adopt lo..

It's easy to get a hamster's trust, but once u make them defensive it's never the same again. Hope your hamster is fine blush.gif

Well she still moves but at a slower pace..and her whiskers remind me of spider sense..Tingling..Is she still having trauma or something like that..? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

I think she is bcoming more cautious now since the dog traumatise her.
As for the whiskers:

BTW...how bad did the dog "play" her cage? hmm.gif
*
Erm I was told that Tiffany(the dog) used her paws to hit the cage something like that for like 10 secs and Cherry got shocked..

But now she's moving like normal..But still have to be vigilant about it..Aih..Felt bad for not being there..

Ooo...i think she is just being traumatised a little...Try to gain her trust back.Spend more wiv her will do(I think) and dun let Tiffany play her cage anymore unless u successfully introduce them 2gether.tongue.gif
*
Introduce? Dont dare man..later she'll eat Cherry up instead of playing with it or watever..

QUOTE(sangels @ Jul 11 2009, 12:38 AM)
Memory of JackJack the Cinnamon banded long hair boy.

Dear JackJack,

I'm so sorry I'm not being around when you taking your last breath but I know you are a brave boy and you'll walking across the rainbow bridge looking back to us with a smile on your face. We want to thank you for giving us great time and lots of good memories since you came to our family. You are the first syrian I've ever had, your cuteness make us fall in love with syrians and therefore we started to get crazy getting more and more members into our family. You are just so tame and never ever bite anyone in your whole life no matter who carry you or touch you. I've so many pictures flashing back on my mind right now. I know we gonna miss you but we happy and glad that you are not suffer and you are leaving us in your dreams. Please take care of yourself and tell the other friends who are waiting for you at the other half of the rainbow bridge, "I miss them, take good care till we meet again." I promise I'll no crying anymore and you promise me you'll be good over there, ok?

Good bye and R.I.P, my JackJack boy!
