Wilsonjay, i bought my hammie stuff at Petshack..if you are in Pj then actually kinda near..

You can seek advice from jtl/babydugong as they are kinda knowledgeable in hamster too. Some other shop that i visited the stuff keep pushing me some items that i don nid and some are even harmful for the hammie..

Crude protein 28%.. plus protein from ur hamster food + treats + mealies... erm erm..i think is a bit too much....

U can feed as treats..mayb occasionally give 1 or 2... but not part of daily diet lo..

One of the biggest prob for dog food i think is the fat and protein... So so high~~~

but puppy food contains higher protein than adult's..

Anyway, i don really favors dog/cat kibbles..even as treats.. There are so many treats out there specially made for hammie.. biggrin.gif

Any other behavioral changes? like appetite dropping... diarrhea...

Lately found out a lot hamster having wet tail disease.. symptoms are diarrhea, energyless, wet tail, eat less...

Sometimes they will hav inner injury.

But anyway, we should take this as a lesson, next time must be extra careful with our babies.

then you shouldnt put kuaci in their main diet. pick all the kuaci out..then feed as treats.

Sometime when you ask people for help then is like tat lo..esp if the person is not really into animals..

Liewxin, yes you can. Most of us feeding mealworms. But give as treats la... Make sure u gut load ur mealworms before feeding them.

Wet tail disease...erm..which vet ur fren went to? Not all vets noe how to treat hamster.. U shud try vet... I'm sure vet has medicine for wet tail disease..

Make sure ur fren separate all the hamsters, becoz the virus may spread to other hammie as well..
