its an anti-cpr not auto regain signal when died, that's the problem haha, suffer alot because im travelling alot too!
*
i tested with Maxis and Celcom, from my place(Kajang/Serdang) to The Curve, went through some highways(and some signal blind spots sweat.gif ) on the way, both signals din't go OUT.

QUOTE(moonie_heejunnie @ Feb 9 2009, 08:49 PM)
how much is the anti cpr sim btw?

i'm getting my phone from my friend tomorrow and i haven't upgraded my sim card sigh

btw, quick Q: do we need to get plug adapter for the charger?
*
if the charger is original two-pin charger, then you need an adaptor for the plug sweat.gif

QUOTE(sakurakinomoto @ Feb 9 2009, 09:29 PM)
Lkylyk, does your n905iu accept 4GB SDHC? or even more? tried before?
*

sorry can't update to you for the past few days because it is still under testing mode after the fix.

QUOTE(milkyway @ Feb 10 2009, 09:46 PM)
Anti-cpr users.. any update / good news?
*
-no CPR required for Maxis(Hotlink) and Celcom(Xpax). OUT only once so far which can regain signal by restarting the phone.
-had gone through some highways in KL/Selangor areas, no OUT problem. thumbup.gif
-went to shopping mall (The Curve, and Southcity), no OUT problem too. thumbup.gif

QUOTE(awong @ Feb 11 2009, 12:15 AM)
did you get the usb programming thing that benny explained on his website?  And your hypersim is it labelled mrsim?  sorry for the random questions, but wondering if you had it and if that makes a difference with the hypersim performance
*
no i din't get the usb programming thing
it is not "Mr Sim". it is labelled "CNsimcard" anyway.
i just change the setting of the hypersim.

QUOTE(sumtuckieeeee @ Feb 10 2009, 11:11 PM)
what bout digi?
*
QUOTE(sonic_cd @ Feb 11 2009, 12:17 AM)
digi i guess still as bad ?
*
since DiGi network doesn't have better coverage as Maxis and Celcom, it went OUT a few times a day(depends on the signal receptions at the areas that you are in).
fortunately the signal can be revived by restarting the phone.

got phone d then cut sim d put in d

then tell me USIM not detected and now i gila trying to take out the sim
*
try to locate the sim card and the hypersim properly.
you may need to use selefon tape, stick on the sim card so that it is easier for you to pull out the sim card+hypersim

where should i tape it? i put some tape around the edges but it's already tight enough with both the sim and hypersim

huhuhu

edit.

still no go.

i better stop now before i kill the phone my sim card and the hypersim wtf

mind totally not stable now lol

will try again in office later

next post here will either be a  cry.gif  or a  icon_rolleyes.gif

anyway just to clarify my prob:

masuk sim and hypersim d the phone shows cannot detect

proceed to set time and date but phonebook no data then cannot do anything
so sorry for the slightly incoherent english.
*
maybe try other sim card see how it goes?
it is actually showing "UIM not recognized" or "圈外" on the signal bar there?

QUOTE(bboycc @ Feb 11 2009, 04:13 PM)
hello everyone, got a long time not coming here.update a bit my sh-01a information. last time leong introduce one hypersim where no major cpr is needed.at 1st, it cant detect the signal.then i realise that it is the simcard problem.then i change a new simcard. then the familiar logo shown on the phone screen "my maxis".haha...last week when i was at kl. i go to sungai wang green box singing k. then at there my phone show no signal.i restart quite a lot of time but it still cant regain the signal.that day is the 1st day where my jphone can see the logo "my maxis".now i come back to melaka my uni mmu. yesterday, it show no signal 2 times in my uni.but after i restart my phone then the familiar signal come back again.haha.
*
first of all, great to see you get it working! rclxm9.gif

sometimes if it can't regain signal, it is because that area you are in doesn't have better signal reception, so can't regain signal. you may need to go to a place where got better signal reception to restart the phone, then you can get the signal back, no CPR required. perhaps in sungai wang green box, there is a very low signal area...

ahh MMU student, Im Malacca MMU student too.  laugh.gif

My SH-03A with Digi sim CPR twice when I went Bukit Mertajam, Penang to visit friends on 2 separate CNY days.
and of course CPR again when I come down to Malacca from Penang because of poor highway signal.

one time I went Malim restaurant, the signal bar showed "圈外" but after several minutes it auto gained back signal. No need to restart phone.
so as in MMU library and some restaurants in Bukit Beruang.

In conclusion SH-03A with digi sim used for 1 month, total CPR is 3 times.
*
we have two PRIME Series users here, but both of you also studying in MMU???
what a coincidence! sweat.gif

Guys, wanna ask between SH-01A and SH-03A which cam is better? Any other jphone with good cam?
*
from other user reviews, seems the picture quality of SH-01A is slidely better than SH-03A. but SH-03A has more camera functions like face detector(and more which i am not too sure...)

in my opinion, the other options would be P905i/P906i/P-01A, F-01A. but no way to compare with CCD sensor camera sweat.gif

yeah on ebay, the buy it price was 200, but the starting bid was 50usd, plus 10 usd shipping.  It is black and boxed set, apparently owner is going to move back to japan from the previous emails.  But no one bid on it b/c guy didnt put pictures, had to message seller and ask for them, I guess ppl are lazy and dun like to ask for pictures.

A few minutes before a 705sh went for 20usd, from hawaii, most likely another japanese national losing his/her phone again laugh.gif

ugh in other news, I had a bad OUT today, this one building at my school signal is weird, same room I was in a few weeks ago with so905ics had no problem recovering, but this time I didnt recover from the OUT, I guess b/c I was in the room for more than an hour.  The whole building is weird, one area my 903sh gets good signal, and my so905ics gets signal, but for some reason the 903sh/920sh will hold signal near the door way area, but so905ics always going in and OUT even though its 2 bar of signal

oh, now it's fine. Just that I'm curious wen you said you can change settings.

Previously, the 'GSM' icon doesn't shows up. And whenever I leave my area, the phone goes 'OUT'.
After I CPRed using a Sony Ericsson, I got the 'GSM' icon showing and no more 'OUT' since.

I'm from Singapore by the way.

But I don't want to take out the bypass sim too often..afraid that I might break the bypass if i don't do it carefully...so now I understand what it takes to do CPR.the pain...hmm.

Anyway, I'm officially in da club now hehehehe...add me to the list~ rclxm9.gif

try this way for your Hotlink sim card:
try to regain the signal by CPR. make some calls/receive calls, etc.
but when you want to take out the sim card, don't off the phone, straight pull out the battery to take out your sim card.
then now put it into your lovely white P905i, see whether it is working.
