when is the right time then?

here is my observation to malaysia's market:
conservative, strong-herd behaviour
here are the questions for those never see j-phone:
spare-part easy to find or not?
i heard people said very difficult to repair wo, is it true?
i heard people said spare part very expensive wo, is it true?
reliable or not? i can see not so many people use le
not many people use, so 2nd hand value very low lo?
unless someone manage to convince them that the questions above are not a problem at all, then they can have a go in malaysia.

Hi all,
i wanna buy a Softbank Sharp 812SH or 707SC, i've read around that is necessary a software or sim unlocking for using the phone outside of Japan.
Next march i'll moving to Tokyo for 1 month, so i'm thinking to buy one.. they sell only in contract mode or can i also pay with money ?
In Japan they can unlock? If not, when i'll return to Italy how can i unlock the phone? (I prefer avoid the hypersim)
Do you know if in Italy Softbank's phones have problems or they work fine? (obv i'm not talking about internet functions etc)
Thanks in advance for your support

actually unlock the phone is not a legal business, as the provider locked the phone so that to limit the users to use their network only (docomo/softbank/au by kddi). so, to find someone in jp to unlock the phone for you could be difficult. if you want to unlock the phone, probably you need to visit hong kong, malaysia, singapore, or taiwan.
if you prefer avoid hypersim, then you should look for model that can be software unlock(911T,920T), or the seller pre-implant the unlock chip inside the phone(920SH). well, hong kong is the right place for you to get these model.
sorry, so far never meet any softbank user from Itali, nor anyone travel in Itali give us any detail about it. suppost no problem as this depends how good is your network provider is. if the network prover's coverage area is sucks all the time, you might need to revive the sim card with a normal phone for quite a lots of time.
