QUOTE(St0rmFury @ Dec 17 2008, 09:05 PM) I want to ask, why are the devout Muslims not doing more to topple the corrupt and definitely un-Islamic UMNO? u think they didnt even try?come on.. this is politic. big fish gonna eat the small fish. and the best is.. the big fish knows how to influence and dis-unite the small fishes around QUOTE(j45on @ Dec 17 2008, 11:43 PM) As a non-Muslim, I think the problem the religion is facing today lies in those older generation who preached it. As most ethnicity show, the older generation usually finds it hard to accept the newer generation's way of applying things. that law is not made by the human. No doubt the newer generations is inexperience, leaders of the newer generations is not simply chosen as well. Anyway, what I am saying is, protectionism of the religion is bad. A good example would be current Rule of law forbidding Muslims to switch religion. If it's good, why made it a crime? Rule of economics says, rational people prefers that more is better. I am from the economics background, so I will be using a lot of 'free economy' analogy in my post. Sorry if I may have caused any dishearten among the readers. For some court, criminals are guilty until found innocent, for me, it's disapproved until proven, given the first-hand evidence showing around me. it is made by the God. and i think that matter already discussed in this forum over and over again. and it will be better u refer to someone more knowledgeable and really knows about this matter to discuss with. briefly. islam is not a religion where u can choose to believe, and then u can choose not to believe. people say it's freedom. but islam says it is the biggest responsibility for the people around that person to protect and teach them about the religion deeply until this matter wont happen. (my english not that good, correct me if i'm wrong) try search/ask RWI about this matter.. or better get the right person to ask |

itulah masalah Muslim sedunia, mengurangkan amalan tapi melebihkan maksiat. Hedon sungguh.
