it's not a final build.. just a near final build (RC). Final due out in January.

Downloaded and running now.. Not too sure whether it is beta or final but it is stable to use.

just wanna ask, is this newer version msn memory hogging compared to the previous 8.5?

just wanna know coz my comp kinda old

Darn it, I installed it in all my computers and in the end I can't chat for 1 day through WLM in Windows. My error code is 8100030d. However, I can login and chat through MSN in my MacBook (Mac). Please help me, thanks in advance.

If you're using beta/loggged in as beta, go to ideas.live.com and if you're not already, sign in. There should be a link at the top saying what betas you are in, click on Windows Live Messenger, then on the right is another link that says 'Leave this beta'. Click that.

Update regarding my problem:
I followed this method from this link in Vista and it worked, thank you so much. However, when I tried the method from the same link that worked in Vista, it didn't work in XP. doh.gif In fact, I tried all links and all methods in XP but to no avail.

Installed and it's quite nice. But 1 problem, messenger plus cant seems to load. So it's not compatible with messenger plus????
