I've just upgraded my MacBook 2.0GHz from 2Gb to 3Gb and there is a big difference, partially due to the fact that I also upgraded my Hard Disk to 250GB the same time but damn its fast now.

QUOTE(Jason @ Dec 31 2008, 12:02 PM) you sure bout that brother? http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macb...body-specs.htmlsays 4GB ram is the max supported by apple. and mac city was giving out 4GB ram as standard for macbook 13" alums for promo. Maybe you got it wrong. The previous polycarbonate MacBook (Santa Rosa/ Penryn) only supports up to 4GB. But the Merom version of the MacBooks supports up to 3GB of RAM. Although Apple stated on their new laptops that it only supports up to 4GB but actually, the aluminum MacBook supports up to 8GB but only 6GB is usable because of the 32 bit structure of 10.5.(Correct me if I'm wrong) So lets wait for snow leopard with its 64 bit architecture.
