Yeah, its not a rumour anymore. APC and Dior Homme shares the same denim source. Dior Homme is more famous for their washed lines - Jakes, clawmarks, etc - but they did come up with some raws, and based their design on the APC NC and NS.

Same denim, different make. Apparently, DH makes them thinner, but with more attention to detail and more stretch (best to size down 3 it seems!). The general consensus is that the DHs are better, but not really worth paying twice or thrice the amount of APCs unless you have money to blow.

I saw 30% off DHs shipped to Australia, so, they drop to about 150% of the APC NCs. I'm still thinking if I should get a DH Indigo raw or go for APCs first, then when I save more, get the DH Black raws. Coz they say DH doesn't break that well compared to APCs.

I want one pair to break nicely and one more for babying But then there are my other pairs to wear. ARGH!!

DH raws are either MIJ or MII. MII loads cheaper, feels thicker, but not using japanese denim. Generally people do not get the MII one because they do not use jap denim.

Looks alright to me.

As you wear them well into the first or second week, raw jeans will mould to fit your waist, thighs and knees, giving you a fit that is comfortably tight. Baggy jeans doesn't really look good on anyone.

One thing to know is, raw jeans are very stretchable. Sizing down a size, would make the fit slightly tight, so the stretch would not be much. Sizing down 2 would make you stretch the jeans more, and the extreme sizing down of 3 would stretch the jeans even more. Personally, I find sizing down 1 or 3 is the same. It would stretch to mould to your leg shape anyway - with less discomfort.


Point to note - different brands have different elasticity.

@atta, try sept to dec or April to may. I don't like the extreme weather outside those months. Haha.

I also think you shouldn't dwell to long on how you should've gotten 4 size down. A bit too much la. You size down 5, it will stretch until it fits your leg. You size down 3, it won't stretch so much, but will still stretch till it fits your legs. Same shit, less pain!

I tried out N&F skinny guy and weird guy few days ago.

Verdict :

Hated weird guy. Skinny guy was O-K. Didn't really like them, too plain. Reason behind that is they give you a raw, authentic japanese jean produced on old shuttle looms with selvedge at a freaking cheap price - so I can't complain. But I wouldn't get one myself.

I don't see any fadings man. Have you been wearing them properly? Come to think of it... haven't seen fit pics! Pics on your ass or else!!

I don't like weird guy coz it fits... weird! I dunno.. like there's a lot more room in the thigh area even when compared to grim timm. Looks real baggy on top and even at the bottom area. Its kind of a straight cut I presume. A straight cut that went out of shape a little =/
