My SA recommended Public Bank... I'm taking quite a rather loan amount (and tenure) 'cos I don't want to pay so much interest..

I think alot of the cars booked from the launch date ie. 18/12/08 will arrive sometime in April - May (at least for the E-Spec).
Partly 'cos the production level for the S-Spec is more as compared to the E-Spec. But my SA said Honda might revert to
producing more E-Spec to compensate with the demand. But at this point, it's still speculation.. He'll let me know probably
in a month's time when they give their feedback to HM

Most probably E-Spec. SA told me for E-Spec, at least 3 months (if you booked the last couple of days).
S-Spec, can get by Feb 2009

I usually where like that everywhere I go.
Maybe the SAs had too many customers on hand.. so they didn't bother.
Next time you should walk up to one of the them, and within listening range...you should go and probably call your brother on the hp and say"
"Hey bro... I'm in the Honda showroom. So many SAs around and I want to buy the new Honda (don't state which one) but nobody wanna layan me, aiya.. if that's the case.. think I'll go to Toyota and buy the Camry la..."

Then look piss and walk out.

I still feel after you "run in" the engine, it'll feel adequate. IMHO, I think it's really hard to determine the torqueness (or power in layman's term) of a similar car (i.e. 2nd Gen City or Vios)...as much as I welcome other ppl's feedback, but when it comes to "butt-dyno", I don't really emphasise much bout me. To me, since I've driven both the current Vios and the 2nd Gen City.. I feel the power delivery to be adequate, not so smooth w/o the CVT..but for city driving and having not more than 2 - 3 people in the car, it's great

I think I'd probably use the Paddle Shift 15% of the time only 'cos I'll be stuck in the jam 5 days in a week, will use for overtakin' only. I wouldn't mind forgoing it for some other accessories..hehe!

I don't think so. I think your SA is lying and probably trying to "push delivery" to after 31/03/08 since alot of ppl are trying to get their cars before that date.

Yup, at RM4.75k it's very expensive. No point getting it now... Can definitely get cheaper outside. Though the Module fitted by HM will be covered by warranty*

* but prolly won't cover wear and tear or accidents. you would need to check tho.

Yea.. some SAs actually give some of their commission to gain more sales 'cos they have sales target.
I think their commission is 2 fold
a) sale of individual car
b) sale target met for week / month

The SA I went to did give me something, not much..but if anybody's interested..can always ask from him whether if I intro ppl...can we get discount or not.
Klang Valley area tho..

..think I'll stick to the standard 16" rims.
If anything, I'll mod the internals
(i.e. K&N Air Filter, Iridium Spark Plugs, Exhaust kit & Voltage Stabilizer (from my present car)

Wonder whether the K&N Air Filter (mushroom type) will void my warranty
