What's the difference between the 3M and VKool? Well..at least for appearance wise? Color, Tint-color

may i know how much it will cost? RM1.5k?

Please, no matter what kind of tint you guys choose, just don't include V-Kool in your consideration list.

Something like that, and the quality is not that good. I can take a few samples of defected V-Kool photo if you want.

but i have no idea where to get those tint film from Penang... anyone know any shop at Penang trusted? i m scare that cheated by them

hello everyone, need help! getting car soon....need advice on tinting....going for quality and practicality....some say go with v-kool you can never go wrong...but some say v-kool will cause problem for smart tag as it is metallic base......and my brain which is organic base is going nuts now trying to figure out the best option....cost is secondary, quality is the first critirial for me....master sensei, any advice for me?

by the way...just heard from SA the bank rate now is 2.88%....

back to tinting now....master sensei, please show me the way....arigato.

some more my father in law is telling me his neigbour friend daugther is working in a tinting shop and can give me RM800/car deal ( donno what tint) , say can guarantee good, guarantee JPJ no problem, guarantee satisfy one, and say those outside abave RM1000 all tipu one, look like very excited to help me save money but make me woner if really there is such big frog jumping around..if you got what i mean....but seriously my friend, anyone got any idea what kind of cost we are looking at to get a good, i mean good tinting job done.

Okay, updated the list to my best knowledge..

For me i'll take brake/pedal locks as it's "not so convenience" to break/unlock it by thief. Just my 2cent. 

around how much for the lock?

Well..I'll find those Steering and Pedal lock too. But to me, most importantly the "fit" of the lock must be good and won't damage the poor steering wheel.

ooo this is the micro antenna type, thanks mike. last time i heard if the car is too heavily tint, it couldnt work properly same like GPS. so far 3 my friends' bee sting antennas kena stolen all in different places. not sure whether the new city's antenna can be stolen or not.

Saw the new City clad in black storming out from the gasoline station. God... really looks good haha.

For the cons, even my V-Kool is facing the same problem. To counter this problem, easy... Just wind down your window and hold your Smart Tag. That'll solve everything.

That will defeat purpose of getting a smart tag right?
Get a Touch n Go will do lo.. 

Anyways, general rules, just look for tint that are ceramic based. Most of it OK.
VKool is metal based, thats why.
Mine using Raytech so far no problem at all using Smart tag and Garmin.

My Garmin somemore can put near gearbox area. Still get sufficient signal..
