I went to have a look and I scribled down some notes on what I like and didn't like:

Like: Exterior looks, boot space, USB capable head unit, paddle shifters
Didn't like: Plastics, air-cond knobs, dashboard shape near driver door, orange lights, door trim.

A short and yet useful user review on interior and exterior. I do agree that the illumination should have be white instead of red. Added to front page. smile.gif

Seems like really need to consider well and seriously for this Beauty but not qualified enough to give him such a Price Tag. (93.5k for E spec?! gosh.. if this is real, HM is real real really make a mistake)

This Saturday I will test and view and judge it carefully whether I should put around 90k on it or not. Otherwise....... hmm....
*
Remember the catalog previously shown by W.ROOK:

RM93.5K just lie nicely within the range for E Spec. Chances are high.

hmm when i got my money next year, chances that i might change my mind is also possible too tongue.gif
*
Probably by then would be the 2009 face lifted Civic?

QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 17 2008, 05:48 PM)
I just received an invitation from my SA to visit the showroom tomorrow.
Think I'll go in the afternoon after lunch. smile.gif
So is the price RM93.5k OTR for the E-Spec? or are we still speculating? If it's true, darn..might have to go for the S-Spec
*
We are still speculating. smile.gif

Yup. It's a big mistake to ask how much I can loan from my salary. So regret. Caused so many flames and etc.. zZz..
*
Don't sweat.gif about it. smile.gif

QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 17 2008, 09:47 PM)
Naw, they'll only release the price after the launch. And I think the launch's around lunchtime or so tomorrow
*keeping fingers crossed on a competitive and favourable price*  unsure.gif
*
Yeah won't be exactly 12am they will update the website. I think more like after the evening show only they will show the price, just like mostly other car launches.

Probably one more poison from Thailand before Msia launching tomorrow. For me the best mod in Thailand, simple and nice. I think some of you will recognize this car. Previously he was using rims which is similiar to current FD2 rims, which is also on EP3. He has just recently change rims again. This car really has the mod potential and I bet you all it is going to modded left and right in Msia:

Kits: Modulo
Rims: Final Speed Favor-IX 17 x 7.0 offset + 45
Tires: Donlop DZ 101 205/40/17
Springs: Tein S-Tech

Sadly Honda Msia ain't bringing this color in. It can sell like hot cakes!

*
Nice price but needs confirmation. smile.gif

QUOTE(vickyrao @ Dec 18 2008, 09:16 AM)
anyone knows what time exactly they are starting over there? i want to go there with my colleague to check it out. i see that some of u mentioned 11am. is it confirmed at that time or perhaps earlier?
*
I guess around 10am - 11am, that's the time usually when the showrooms are open.

QUOTE(apisgogo @ Dec 18 2008, 09:23 AM)
Saw an ad about this new city in The Star today and its says there "...compact yet comfort.."

hopes this means the noise insulation problem is taken care off.

but it didn't mentioned any price in the ad tho.

saw one in Jalan Ampang HM showroom just now while on the way to work. damn, this car looks so much better in naked eyes rather than in pictures.

88k figure sounds nice..
*
Even the Federal Highway signboards has changed today. smile.gif

So the final price is 85k n 89k. Not so bad but i still found abit ridiculous to pay for such B compact saloon.

We should be lucky consider in sgpore, the E spec city is almost same price with the altis sweat.gif

Hmm should i take the city or hunt for a 2nd FD civic? Hunting for 2nd cars is more adventuous to me hmm.gif
*
FD = 1.8 version right? 2nd hand value is around RM95k I assume.

QUOTE(W.ROOK @ Dec 18 2008, 10:06 AM)
CONFIRMED! biggrin.gif
*
Not bad..

QUOTE(hush_puppies @ Dec 18 2008, 10:17 AM)
W.ROOK,  the price is confirmed? gosh 90k for the car.. macam ini punya economy...
probably S spec is 5k less. means RM85k. hmm...  increased 5k from previous model. HM really will be making a lot of money for this new Honda City
*
I knew Honda will definitely increase the price, this can be seen with the release of latest Jazz.

Honda.com.my haven't update yet.  cry.gif  But anyway, since priced is confirm, let's wait till the official website update.

I've placed order for E-Spec, getting it around March.  biggrin.gif  I might be joining P.M.M. or either Blue. Blue look nice too but i've been brain washed by you guys to go for P.M.M. Still considering. In these 2-3months, I might see both colors on the road.  tongue.gif

EDITED:
Honda.com.my is updated!!!!! But the City's video is still previous version's video. LOL

OMG! So many posts since my last read. Anyway I got a last minute invitation to the launching event which was at Mandarin Oriental. Nothing much basically, the half cut car is on display which shows the internal features. All colors are available there. At the end got a goodies bag which consists of Honda Keychain with flashlight, Honda card holder and full set of Honda City brochure. Anyway the car looks really better than real life and the radio doesn't look that bad actually.

*
Yeah Blue looks cool too.

QUOTE(avickun @ Dec 19 2008, 05:57 PM)
yes, new Facelifted Civic oledi out but not yet in msia. City and Civic are two range of car, City is entry level, just like our ...hmmm..Iswara, and Civic is the Wira/Waja..(but of cos the quality of Honda and Proton cant compare their level like tat la  rolleyes.gif ).

If you dun wan a higher loan repayment and save ur fuel,insurance..City lo..

so where can i catch the glimpse of the civic FC.. you have any links.. well need to get more info on it before i can decide on the city... well the major thing that attract me to the city is the cost and money i can save my getting the city...
*
Lots of pics here:

Not sure this is important though. If those who is interested in 3M tint and how it look on the City, pop down to Damansara showroom. The City there is fitted with 3M Crystalline 70. Looks great!
