hmm i gave up my first booking...suppose there goes one lucky fler. anyway me too read from autocar jan issue that HM has decided to expand the production rate of city to 1.5k units per month. its good news for consumers to get the car faster...but...i kinda worry about the quality because it has becoming a mass products. good luck!

yup, jus did a quick browse thru trying to dig for more info of the city this afternoon. all i can remembered is increased to 1.5k per month but it didnt say how many previously though. couldnt manage to buy it because was with a friend in a rush.

hey no prob. same here maybe because the road is too short to reach 100 kmph. perhaps will try to floor it to the max next time

yea, heard the same too. vkool is metal base, so after some time, it will started to oxidize.... u'll get the picture. besides, having the same quality as vkool, 3M actually cost cheaper than vkool too. although its still the 2nd costly tint in the market.

im interested in either 3M for its quality or EcoTint for security purposes. if the price is good maybe help my fren to get EcoTint too.

hmm perhaps the 5th gear will shift in if rev normally instead of forcefully which is why it is still maintain at 4th gear to keep the high rpm when driving over 80kmph. i dont know, gotta test drive it again to confirm this.

hmm nvr heard of B-Kool and cost rm980 is rather expensive imo. like other forumers said, nvr go for unknown cheapo brand, definitely will regret because when it deteriorated, it sure looks ugly on ur windscreen some with bubble or those with oxidized silver toning across it.

was checking the old city and the new city photos at sgcarmart.com. old city has auto/brake lock while new city doesnt. the interior is so much better for the old city in terms of quality. new city interior looks nice as long dont go feel/knock on them lol.

ya, maybe the reason previous city has better interior quality because they wan to boost its poor sales. but now HM knows the new city can sell better so they moderate the quality level like its competitor vios.

lol its an entry car, so cant expect much. hmm how bout vios or latio engine sound in comparison?

agree with some of your points there. now they have increased the production rate, im kinda worry about the quality may be degraded.

hmm actually this city is a totally new car built from scratch which is why they call it All-New City. as for dugong vios i think other than changing the body shell and add some minor tech like DBWire, its still the same car. notice the doors are the same too.

hmm honda india has updated their site, impressive with the 3D part. because initially it was very 'pariah' lol. but still, if you notice, honda city india has the least equipments like they dont have either 15" or 16" rims as both also uses steel rims, and no fog lights too to name a few.

cos $ka-ching$ got stuck nvm la, maybe till tat time got diff offer or lower hire purchase rate...im so going to miss out the gov rebate...

its not the average 16" cos this one is optimized for best FC which explains the irregular tire size. perhaps lighter which is almost on par to the 15".


same same im very satisfy with the car. although 90k to me is good deal compared to vios but surprisingly friends around me being skeptical about the expansive price tag than vios. i thought many would want to buy it, but it seems im the only one in my circle of friends...

hmm its very rare for ppl to rev their engine exceeding 5k rpm, unless those heavy footers like to drag from first gear. normally the average range of highly rev is about 3k to 4k. besides, its 5 gears transmission so it should have even smaller gear ratio between gears rite? goreng...correct me if im wrong!

hmm according to my SA, HM prefer to keep the original styling of the optimus prime grille which is why they didnt bring in the modulo grille. its something like an identity or image to the All-New City.

the previous steering design was one of the reason i didnt buy the previous city.

yup me like the ori grille too, hmm chrome ar....wouldnt it be kinda big and shinning? actually the contrast part when under the sun, the ori grille should looks ok because the PMM body will look lighter in color with multi toning/shading. just my opinion la haha
