no pics yet... Christopher Ward C600, just arrived yesterday.
at ~40mm, sit on the wrist nicely. rubber band is long suitable for ppl going diving.
the PVD finish is really nice. Great packaging didn't feel like one is buying a cheapo watch.
Great Lume I have to say..... loving the blue glow.

the only 2 issue I have is the deign of the hands, a little to long and broad. for US$385 its good value as a beater watch.
not own a ETA 2824, so can't compare with SW200 inside this watch.
2nd issue is the screw-in crown, maybe I own a Zenith so I pick on it. it just didn't give me THE FEEL. hey can't help right since its more than 10X diff in price. will pay with it for a few days and report how much time it gain/loss.

AD = authorize dealer. In their contract, they are required to buy X amount of watches from these brands and can only give  limited controlled discount.

gray market dealers, they obtain watches thru AD. In this bad Econ, AD may go under and need to liquidate. There is no way to sell in such a short time, they will let go their items at a low price to these dealers without warranty. in other case, AD are carrying too much stock or need cash flow or some other reason. They also let it go cheap to these dealers.

without warranty huh? so the warranty is provided by the shop? kinda like underwater phones?

to me, the bestest James Bond has got to be Sean Connery! Brosnan is suave, but Craig is just plain masculine.

i prefer the previous SMP, with sword hands. IF, the sword hands are on the PO, fuiyoh.....

eventually, I want to own both. Doxa AND Omega both will be in my collection eventually. just that, at the moment, which one should i get first? Doxa is kind of a gamble. So far, i really like what i see in the pictures.

current Omega Seamaster Professional (Bond) vs current Rolex Submariner (Bond)
i feel that if the Omega had the crown and the Rolex brand on it, and sold at the same price as the Submariner, it would be the more popular piece as it is more refined.. case, co-axial movement, clasp.. I personally feel Submariner is so popular simply because it has the crown and the 5 letters.. R O L E X, the watch itself has never really changed at all since inception.

what's your take?

but for me...the PO design and co-axial movement just captivates me......I've never bother to browse Rolex forums...its just way out of my league..hehehe

Tag lume cannot last, I get them to relume after 2yrs or so... its like not having any lume.
Super-LumiNova lume can glow brightly for like 1-2mins.

Would like to ask your expert advices and opinions on watches as I am interested in upgrading my timepiece to something a little more fancy and prestigious (currently using a Croc watch given by my dad a few years ago).

I'm eyeing the following watches:

1) Tag Heuer Link Calibre S CJF7110.BA0587
2) Tag Heuer Link Automatic Chronograph CJF2110.BA0594
3) Tag Heuer Link Calibre 36 CT511A.BA0564

I'd like to ask if you guys know the price range of the above models, if they're available in M'sia and if it's worth the money. If you know of any other watches of similar design but better value for buck, would appreciate if you could recommend to me. I'm looking at a budget between 5-7k (not going to spend more than 8k on a watch, not just yet anyway  )

I found this vintage oris which belongs to my grandfather.
It's not functioning. The winding stem is broken as I can pull it out. Couldn't find a way to get inside the watch. Any thoughts? What can I do with it?

any nice female watch to reckon not more than rm5k ? saw Cortina like not so temping....guess paying for the name rather than the movement....[i maybe wrong]

But i wonder y there's so many gals are wearing cortina/rolex and other shinny watches...
