I'm searching for a phone to take over my W580, preferably a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, but I don't think it's the only Wifi phone that is priced around RM1k, so I want to source more choices.

For your budget, there's Nokia E63 and Nokia N81.

I don't like the style of the E63 - fat, and QWERTY keyboard for a candybar... doesn't suit my taste.

N81 looks appealing though - how much is it?

Anyway, any other models that will fit with my budget?

The N81 is around RM1000 for an AP set and RM1300 for an authorized set.

... I prefer original sets, warranty's good - if something goes wrong, can send it back to Zitron/Nokia to service for free, instead of some APs which won't repair small defects. Experienced it once - my W580 left and right softkey broke because I left it in my air-cond room, and they said:"Sorry, we don't cover these things, but if you want us to fix for you, ok, RM100 for new keypad."

Ridiculous, ain't it?

If so I'd go for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, RM1.3k for a original set just like the N81, but with more features...

Is there no more other WiFi phones I can choose from?

For your budget, I can only think of Nokia 5800 and N81. If SonyEricsson's G series is fine with you then you may want to consider that too.

Heh, went to research about the G series, and you know what - forget them. I am a SE fan, but it disappoints me to see the G series - failure..

So which one is a better one to get, the N81 or the 5800? Personally I'm weighed on the 5800, as my cousin owns one and I've molested it and done so much with it, but I hope you can weigh me back onto making this a fair comparison.

Get N78. within ur budget and requirement.

N82 camera is the best in Nokia. Other function just the same(N79 auto change theme when change other cover ). N82 is old model but still the best in performance.

2nd hand SE C902(Thin & 5MP camera)
