You can go for Samsung G400. Good camera and stylish as well.
Slim but large for a flip phone tho.

3. Emphasis on big quality screen, good & loud sound
4. Camera at least 3.0mega pixel but can live with 2.0Mp
5. Prefer non-candy bar & good casing design but not critical
6. 3G n internet connectivity not important

Xperia also is a Windows Mobile, and alot people say iPhone has a better OS than Windows Mobile, just that iPhone has many other setbacks.

Nokia 5610 should be below RM800 now AP set.
2.2 inch screen + 16 million colours.

Its easy to imagine that a camera without autofocus n flash, i think the K750i quality will better than that..

Im using iphone as well.. If u like the Mac OS then will be fine.. But it lack of some phone function sometime... Not really practical for daily use.. Im using it as my 3rd phone.. Compare to window mobile, it has different features and different 3rd party software, so its difficult to compare with each other..

thanks. 5610 is selling below 800. what's ur take on 7610 supernova? cheaper than 5610.

7610 supernova has smaller screen. only 2.0 inch
while 5610 is a music edition phone so it has better sound and music quality

7610 no 3G...

Or maybe a 6500 slide might suits u.. Look classy as well... Price at less than 800 for an AP set...

have been offered a n80 used unit. price <RM400. pretty tempted....

N80 is bad in taking pictures with its camera as it dont have autofocus.. But it is a symbian OS lar... If u wan a used one, then go for N73ME at price around 5xx... Best features among all at this price...

Oh ya, Samsung U700 also suits ur need i think.. Slim slide phone with 3.2MP camera and 3G... Since samsung is also under ur consideration... Great phone too... New price at RM7xx... Used price RM4xx...

thanks ya. si fu is really si fu. i HAVE been eyeing the u700 but got a couple of bad 'comments' like silver paint easily scraped off, ring tone/sound not loud, screen tough to look at under sunlight etc. did some research n seems like a few recommend samsung g600. from the reviews, looks like the 'perfect must-have phone'. AP is <900 while 2nd hand maybe 400-500.

havent used a nokia for a while n was considering the 2nd hand n80 as it was cheap n i havent used such smart/pda phones b4. figured that for 3++ i can try out if smart phones r for me, if not, a year from now i can hunt for a new one.
