WM6 is more specialize in handwriting when 5800 XM comes with FULL qwerty , mini qwerty, handwriting and alphanumberic keypad that WM doesnt have
Another thing for warranty samsung FMG warranty are horrible. If your phone no problem is ok i have heard tons of complain when ppl send their phone in they have few weeks or months to fix even my crappy HDD samsung took them 2 months to fix and so called Samsung centre so for me and my friends samsung is a No NO it just good to see

but actually that's what i heard about the i780 also..
the screen is a really limiting factor..
on the other hand i've heard some really good reviews on the 5800...
i've used symbian before and now wanna try windows mobile..
but i'm kinda worried the screen will limit the abilities of the phone...
