well i would say overall is N82 is better when comparing to 5800XM.. pls check the post b4 this and model vs model thread.. there are many explaination there...

think wisely b4 buying.. bcoz touch screen phone is not that good wink.gif

noted that all phone in your list has WiFi and HSDPA...Nokia N82 and 5800XM is Symbian OS.. and G705 is not Symbian OS

anyway..
N82 is first in the ranking.. you should buy this phone..
PROS:>> good 5mpx camera [the best among the phone that you list]probably the best in Nseries] ..
with 3d graphic accelerator, 2.4' screen, Symbian S60V3FP1
CONS:>>not so beautiful and not stylish[for some people],not nice interface[it is FP1,with no attractive menu style],sound that produce not the best among the phone that in list[G705,5800]

PROS:>> better camera than 5800XM, good speaker,produce crystal clear sound,nicer interface than N82.. it is for simple people[who dont like complicated symbian phone]

SE G705 only can support java software..so welcome to limitivity of SE ..

PROS:>> to touch screen lover.. it is a good phone to get.. it produce good sound quality,nice interface, new UI,S60 V5,

just asking why you need 2 mpx phone based on your budget..

PROS:better camera[still image][xenon flash],better RAM,better processor,has 3d accelerator,speaker is good
CONS: old interface,FP1,bad design[for me],uncomfortable keypads,short battery life,videocam not so good

N85 -
PROS:better videocam[led light can be on/off],newer interface, FP2,nice double slider,nice interface,gaming/multimedia keys,OLED screen,long battery life,navi wheel is good,good speaker
CONS:still camera is not so good in dark place[low light],no 3d accelerator

overall - N85 for entertainment freak and
N82 for camera freak

like 3d accelerator??? go for N82 ...

N82 is better in hardware.. but N85 is better in overall performance..
