1. Brand. - any wellknown or reliable brand
2. Budget. < 1.5k
3. Specs. - radio, can surf net and download thingy, mms, can connect with pc for media transfer
4. Type/Size. only clamshell/flip-up

I got 3 so far

Samsung G400 Soul
+ touch-screen
- can't see under direct sun (**)

Nokia 6600 Fold
+ looks very slick
- unreliable, some ppl report phone gonk after months usage (****)

Sony Ericsson W980
+ walkman
- don't really like design (personal)


plz advice

W980i. I prefer push aside all those models you mentioned and get Nokia 5800 instead.

I'll go for N82 because of xenon flash. The design of N82 more appealing compared to N79, imo.

I think ku990's not for you if you want expandable functions like installing softwares in Symbian OS... etc... And i dont think garmin can be used in ku990. c902 is good for phototaking, but the "trend" is touch screen FTW now so if you are a camwhore you still can take it, but personally i like 5800XM~
Responsive touch screen, user friendly, many expandable functions with SYmbian OS , 100% garmin compatible, decent camera (3.2 MP, sufficient for daily use) and XpressMusic too.

i prefer 5800XM too for its symbian and connectivity ability when LG fails there. But if your reason is for camera and show off u have a new phone then KU990 is for you. If you prefer more than show off more on functionality get 5800 XM. A note 5800 camera quite disappointing for current firmware

Any sifu here can recommend a good camera phone with 3.2mp ?

Try ask your mom to top up additional RM 300 and get Nokia 5800 instead.

However, Nokia 5320 not bad as well.
