Morning2 you guyz. Wanna check with you has anyone here changed their chain belt before? If so what are the process like? I heard you have to do full servicing inclusive oil engine, oil filter and other parts as well. Please correct me if i am wrong. Cause my engine sound a bit weird.

Since it's 2006 tyre i purchased from them, they willing to take each RM50 (Only roughly). Because i call up Rome from Ban Hooi, he said he will try to give me RM50 above. Price for PP2 if i not mistaken RM240 each. But all of that can change if i'm there (ROme said  sweat.gif ) hope higher lor.

I think stock design void risk from insultation from society (especially friends  tongue.gif ) Unless u bloody certain the custome design is dam top notch then oklah  tongue.gif . So to avoid this risk i prefer to stick with nice stock (Play safe).

*
Ya......their price quite cheap. I might choose PP2 as my current Hankook V8rs tyre is almost time. 195/50/15 is around rm200-220 le.....if i not mistaken. Mine 16" touch rm300 each sweat.gif.

Insultation only come when those car is over decorated. If u keep it simple then is nice.

Btw, i got new toys........u interested pm me le.....

I'm using PP2 195/55/15 for your info. I guess good advice from Rome so that extra thickness can last a bit (Whatever that means) sweat.gif . But i'm comfortable with 195/55/15 so tent to keep using it though. You using rim 16 sweat.gif . DareDevil lah you. Some of my friends from rim 16 channel to 15 (Can't stand with flat tyre sweat.gif ).

Wahhhhhh new toy or toys sweat.gif . Brother i'm getting marriedlah later i bankrupt die lor cry.gif . Nvm2 i PM u later laugh.gif

hey guys...~!

I just want to confirm with you guys, currently my odo shows 4xxx KM, so for my 2nd service...should I go service after the Odo reach 5000 KM or 6000 KM? Im confuse whether do service after my odo reach 5000 km or after 5000km after the 1st service?which means my odo reach 6000km(1000km+5000km)...and 'normally' what need to be changed for 2nd normal service, and how much it will cost me...? rclxub.gif

1st service : 1000km
2nd service : 5000km
3rd service : 10000km
4th service : 15000km

and the reasons why the mechanic will write 6000km for next service on the label is because their mind set was +5000km from the current odometer (1000km odometer)... if car serviced on 23513km odometer, means they will write 28513km for next service; if car serviced on 585km odometer, means they will write 5585km for next service...

also, refer your manual book there have the service schedule table, it mention service car every 5000km 10000km 15000km and so on based on odometer

for the charge for 2nd service, should wont more than RM100...
the items involved are engine oil, oil filter, drain plug gasket (nah, they wont change 1)...

since ur travel so frequent, i suggest u look for good engine oil and can increase the service interval up to +8000km instead of +5000km...

for more info... refer here...

maybe charged but never change the plug... sweat.gif laugh.gif
that the reasons i prefer to stand beside my car to monitor what services performed on my car...
and the plug should change 10000km odo, the new plug can last for another 20,000km, means u replace it at 30000km odo...

I think for the brake oil or fluid can easily be seen next to the powerstering oil. It's in black cap (If i'm not mistaken). Once the oil is black or almost black, best you change/bleeding. Usually it's optional. If u think it's time, you can ask the P2 people to do it for you.

Coolant need to change meh hmm.gif . I think only top up right? If i were you, every 30k or 40k i do major coolant flush. Need 4 - 5 bottle (toyota life - red color cap). No worries it's already mix with water from the factory. That can make your engine temperature maintain and not exceed the limits.

Your car still under warranty ? What is it you wanna claim? sweat.gif

Fully flush. Means they will drain all the existing coolant on the initial stage. When everything clear put 100% coolant (No mix with water) because by default it already mix with water at factory. So all an all need 3 to 4 bottles (1 bottle equal with 1 liter). This is for better result smile.gif . Just sharing btw. Also 30k to 50k once only. Rich hehe nolah all CC mah hehe laugh.gif . Cash keep in the bank biggrin.gif

Yup2 agreed. But it's no done at the P2 SC. I think they will disallow it (Not sure y). That sort of thing is custom on request by customer. It's entirely optional actually. If u really care on your cooling system part of it need good or consistent coolant to keep engine flow cool. It's logic in a way (I think tongue.gif ). Well it's part of learning process. Never try never know. Correct me if i am wrong notworthy.gif
